Presidente is a Dominican icon of quality and pride. This leading product of great tradition has maintained a vigorous presence in the local market for almost seventy years and has kept a strong linkage with freshness, entertainment and young adults. Presidente is a Pilsner type beer made from top quality raw materials that definitely makes it the best beer, the real taste.

On tap at a Cuban restaurant in Miami Beach. Light gold pour with little head. Flavor reminded me more of a light pilsener than a pale lager. I found no offensive off flavors in the beer and found it to be very easy to drink. Price was a little high, $6.95, but that is MB.

Reviewed from notes. Though it says it is a "pilsener type" of beer, uh...here’s my take on it. Poured into a pilsener glass, the look is quite clear with a slight yellow coloring to it. A vast array of fast rising carbonation rises to fill a rapidly dieing bubbly head. Lacing is nowhere to be seen. The smell leaves a lot to be desired. No matter how many times I’ve had this I can never get barely anything out of this. The taste was somewhat sweet but watery if that’s even a descriptor for taste (is there actually any flavoring in water - I’ve been drinking water longer than drinking beer and in my opinion, there’s no taste to water). On the palate, this one sat exceptionally light and extremely sessionable, probably could pound these all day if I was on a beach in the Caribbean. Overall, would I have this again? Hell no. I’d actually say this is probably on the lower end of the pale lagers.

UPDATED: SEP 14, 2014 Mostly light and without flavor. Some malt detectable. No bitterness to speak of. Refreshing, decently clean, easy drinking.

Pours a light gold with low carbonation, heavy lacing & thick foamy head. Sweet, light and super easy to drink. Great summer beer!

Pale lager is right. This might as well been carbonated water with a little yellow food coloring. Probably fine if you just want to pound some down, but wasn’t even refreshing for me.

Bière très simple avec rien de spécial mais très appréciable sur la plage ou entre amis en été. Pas plus.

330ml bottle from bar in San Juan. Rating from September 2013. The day was hot and the beer was cold, probably tasted better because I had just finished walking around San Juan.

Appearance is medium white head with a light yellow aroma. Aroma is almost nonexistant. Taste is a drinkable light beer.

Drank from a bottle. There are no strong flavours here but there are some! Maybe some sweet malts or something. Not bad, not good.
