I gave this beer a try since I never had it before, and boy, did I regret it! Beer smelled skunked and musky. Appeared virtually colorless. Taste was equally skunky, thin, and watery. Only excuse could be mishandling during shipping or old age. One of the only beers worse than Coors Light.

Did not like this beer at all. I just can’t get into the island beers I guess. Looked too pale in color. Funky flavor. Not for me.

Evanescent and little long-lasting foam. Yellow color clearly, much limpid one and fizzy. Moderated aroma, deprives of characteristics to signal. Light and enough bitter taste. Drinkable and altogether sufficient.

One of the better beers from the carribbean. Best enjoyed on a beach. Has a smooth, crisp refreshing taste. Not much of an aroma and is rather high in alcohol percent when pruchased in the Dominican Republic.

UPDATED: AUG 26, 2006 The other ratings seem to all tell the truth about this beer. It’s skunky in smell and taste. It has a light malt and corn taste but is also sour. Very similar to other Caribbean and central American beers.

Upon cracking the cap with my bottle opener: IMMEDIATE skunk smell ejaculation. Just like Rolling Rock. This is low grade bad. Seems to be popular amongst the hipster set for its ironicalness. Sad

Many thanks go out to Pailhead for this little delight!!! Served out of a can, but the can was green which means skunk, right??? Adjunct laden. Slightly sweet up front. Nothing else really striking about the flavor. It is fizzy and yellow. Well, cross a country off I guess.

Bottle on location in the Dom Rep. Clear pale yellow liquid; no head; no lace. Minus 1 appearnace points for the green bottle. Faint aroma of hay; to taste crisp and bitter, clean finish. Great swill.

My sister loves this stuff and brought a lot back with her from the Dominican. Piss yellow with a fizzy head. Kinda skunky (green bottle). Aroma of nada; no hops, no malt, hey... is that corn I smell. Might be as good as some other pale lagers from Latin America, then again might not.
