Straight from the source and still skunky. Pale gold. Thin white head. Some grassiness in the nose. Sweet. Herbal mint notes. Regular yellow junk.

Well, this isn’t the greatest beer in the world and the "pilsner-style" description is pushing it a bit, but it does have a little malt and hop character, which is more than can be said for the scores of boring Caribbean lagers that I had sampled before. Bottled, le Lezard Vert, Guadeloupe.

Reminded me of Heineken. My brother thought it should be called Domeineken. Skunky, soapy head, boiled cabbage flavor. Skip.

No way in hell this is pilsener, just another Mexican-style swill, clear golden color, nose smelled of skunked corn, slight malt in the nose, very heavy body & very filling, I almost couldn't have another beer (not this one again, though), after drinking just one of these

Label says Pilsener. Tongue says corn. Color says lager. Taste is heavy, especially for a pils. Almost managed to maintain the head.

0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Bottle (3/2/04) This stuff is ubiquitous in Florida. Poor Floridians. Fairly dark jaundice yellow; small head that lasts. Aromas of microwaved turnip greens, cream corn, Georgia paper factories. Flavor in keeping with the aroma; tons of corn, white bread, somewhat winey. Horrid aftertaste of slimed iceberg lettuce - despite a rather dry finish from this international lager. Almost my first 0.5 rating, but it doesn't look so bad from a distance.
