Bottle. I guess you had to be there - Dominican Republic that is - to appreciate this. Standing outside a deli in Manhattan in November I thought it was one of the worst beers I ever had. Unpleasant aroma, odd mix of off flavors, as overly carbonated as warm soda, and thin. BUY AGAIN: No way.

Bottle. Nice shade of yellow with a film of bubbles. Nose smells like sweet garbage juice. Not overly sweet. High CO2. Not really offending, but not good. Very mellow. Compared to the nose, the taste is pure magic.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Very light yellow color with lots of bubble action. Slight skunky aroma that comes from the bottle. The taste is fair enough-a little domestic and a bit weak, but overall not bad for what it is. Just drink really cold and preferably on a boat in the Caribbean.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured well, nice pure white foamy head. Grassy hops in the nose - SAAZ!! Easy drinking - a nice example of a pilsner-type beer, Latin-America style.

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2005 Bottle. Pretty thin, but a bit more flavour than something like Bud. Little bit fizzy, a touch grassy i suppose, but really nothing to write home about.

Awful. The only (slightly) redeeming feature is that it smells somewhat like a pils. Otherwise, the tastebuds are attacked immediately by a missmash of spoiled medicine/citrus soda. I only lasted for a few sips and then I polluted the neighborhhod by pouring it down the sink. Throw your money away before you buy this product.

Pale gold, with aroma of slight pale malt and thiols. Bland tasting with slight corny malt and some off flavors. The guys who rated this a 4.9 and 5.0 should be permanently banned from this site, right after they are soundly beaten with green beer bottles.
