Straw, OK head. The aroma is like a typical mainstream, and the flavour is rather thin with notes of malt, light sweetness, flower and ditto bitterness. Easy to drink - and that’s it. Thank you Mogens and Lisbeth for this one, that became my country number 52. 1966

Bottle. Pours sparkling yellow with a small, frothy, white head, diminishing with spare lacing. Aroma is average malt (bread, grain), light hops (grass), average yeast (dough) with notes of corn. Light bodied, thin texture, average carbonation, and a chalky finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness; very clean yet bland.

light transparent golden colour, fresh and slightly spicy aroma - well ... average lager

hopscotch (9519) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - APR 22, 2007
Bottle... Clear yellow lager with a mid-sized, wispy, white head that’s gone in a flash. Sweet aroma with notes of canned corn, light toffee and peppery hops. Pilsner malt and honey flavor with an undertone of hominy grits. Only a suggestion of hops. Medium-bodied with Champagne-like carbonation. Lightly oily with a crisp, then mostly sweet finish.

Typical South American style pilsner style beer. Only this one has a funky smell. Quite odd actually. It MUST be consumed ICE COLD.

Bottle. I went to a friend’s house of Poker night and broke out the good stuff. Poured a lighter yellow color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of corn and some graininess. Tastes of corn, sweet maltiness, and grainy. Yep, it is a Pale Lager alright.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market, Chapel Hill, NC. Foreign pale lager in a green bottle. Neat! Pours a clear pale amber color with a large head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of skunk, sweet malts and grass. Taste is toasted malts, sweet grainy notes and a grassy finish. Thin-medium bodied. Not horrible.

Cheezy smell. Pale lager, with big bubbles. Malt story, with a bit of an acidic bite. Lacey. Aggressive carbonation. Minimalist drinakbility.Stephan’s bottle from his recent trip.

UPDATED: JUN 27, 2010 For the life of me, I don’t know why it rated this high. Almost like a corona mixed with a pilsner. Better than expected I guess. Rated 11/15/2000

355mL. Had this many times back in the day when I was duped into thinking this was a step up from domestic macro lagers. Pours clear gold with a more impressive white, dense head leaving decent lace. Nose is skunky, stinging green bottle import skunked hops, mild lemon zest, sugary orange and mild chemical. Taste is a bit sugary, bland, mild paper, soap. Eh. Almost no distinguishing character.
