Decent drinkable beer. Small head, dissipates quickly. Clear, amber. Light taste, slight skunky aftertaste. I remember it tasting MUCH better on tap in the Dominican Republic (I was there twice). Perhaps it was fresher there.

I gave this beer a try since I never had it before, and boy, did I regret it! Beer smelled skunked and musky. Appeared virtually colorless. Taste was equally skunky, thin, and watery. Only excuse could be mishandling during shipping or old age. One of the only beers worse than Coors Light.

surprisingly good pilsner. I think the other raters may have gotten an old one, I liked this one. Not quite as good as Pilsner Urquell, etc, but very good. Cheap too!

I tried both Presidente and Presidente light while doing volunteer work in the Dominican Republic in San Jose De Ocoa
the beer is stored there in freezers that often stop working due to power outages therefore they sweat than when the freezer kicks back in the bottle freezes and is enclased in ice. To get to the point, when your doing volunteer work that includes heavy labor in the hot sun all day you want something ice cold, refreshing and slushy. That’s what Presidente provided because it’s not strong (at all), it’s light can be skunky when exposed to the sun, it’s refreshing, very fizzy and great on a hot day and A VERY GOOD ALTERNATIVE TO WATER considering us foreigners have bad effects to the water there. I drank it every day for the entire month I was there working.

Blond beer, pilsener, a common Caribbean beer, the best produced in the Dominican Republic, easy drink, a very simple taste.

IN dominican, this is what they drink. It was on tap, never had it out of the bottle. It tasted quite watery, but not a bad taste.

Yes! Yes! Yes! The Caribbean is all the better for this great tasting lager. Drink it ice cold and on the beach, it makes a good holiday great. I got wasted on it many times but never a hangover, they tell me it’s preservative free. mmmmmm healthy beer!!
