Reminded me of a Heineken, but with a fouler aftertaste. A little papery tasting too.

355ml bottle from Gourmondo.de. Clear orangeish gold colour, small fizzy white mostly vanishing head, little bit of lacing. Moderately malty aroma of grain and caramel, light citric hops. Taste is initially moderately sweet and slightly acidic turning into a bittersweet finish with a somewhat chalky feel. Light body, dry texture, lively carbonation. Somewhat more pleasant than I expected, nowhere near great but thus far the best bulk lager from Latin America I’ve had.

A golden lager with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light baby powder. In mouth, a nice smooth malt with light grassy hops, decent. Can from Puhskinwow.

Flaska. Guldfärgad med stort kolsyrigt vitt skum. Hö, säd och jordighet i doften. Svag maltighet, gräs, vitt bröd och säd i smaken. Kolsyrig munkänsla. En standardlager med allt vad det innebär.

In Dominican the beer at our resort was presidents in cans and on tap. For a plain lager type beer pretty enjoyable.

Various cans and tap while on vacation. Clear gold yellow, sometimes some head depending on the pour. Actually smells and tastes like beer rather than cerveza. No skunk, mostly grains and a little apple sweetness. Light lager body, but fuller than the light version. Overall, a solid pale lager, definitely the best pale lager I’ve had from from the region so far. If you can drink North American macro lagers there is no reason why you shouldn’t like this.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle, aged in Deans fridge then made it’s way to my fridge.. Flat, golden clear pour... No carbonation but that’s the side effect of being open for over a week.. Aroma is hay, honey and malts. Flavor is sweet, touch of honey and artificial sweetners.. Very boring, still easy drinking... Not much to say about this..

If you are not expecting anything groundbreaking, it is very enjoyable at first. After some bottles, the taste gets really bitter and perhaps salty, factors which are not very noticeable when you start drinking.

Bottle at Dean’s aged pale lager tasting. Finally, the aged pale lager, we’ve been waiting for. Aroma of grainy malts, soapy and very messy. Flavor is sweet hay, boring lager.
