2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
$2 can at Frietkoten Belgian Fries & Beer. I admit. I kind of liked it. Slightly sweet adjuncty smell, yes. But the pour is golden yellow with a respectable bubbly head, looking better than a lot of the pissy American lites. The label clearly mentions "refined corn and sugar," so it’s not hiding its adjuncts. Yes, there is some corn sweetness, but with a matching bitterness that’s often missing in a foreign pale lager. For a beer you can get for $2 at a nice place in Chicago to sit down with a cone of frites… not bad.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Picked this up to fill out my mixed 6 pack. Green bottle pours light gold, small white head with no retention. Minimal nose. Taste has light sweetness, minimal flavor. The best thing to be said is that it is not offensive in any nature.. With these adjuncts is somewhat of a compliment. Very Light body.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft 12 oz pour at the resort. Now that I know that asking for a beer down here, means asking for a presidente, I’ve become quite acquired to it. Not great, but in the 90 degree humid weather, I rely on it to keep me hydrated. Golden yellow pour with a ton of sticky lacing. Very refreshing light pils flavor. A little apple crisp to it. No real complaints from me here.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle found in La Paz, Bolivia. For when you need your carribean lager in the middle of South America. Pours with modest white head and bright yellow body. Aroma of cardboard, dry hops, and yeast. Flavour is a lot of nothing with a hint of lager and a dry finish. Middling lager, forgettable.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Dorada clara y brillante con un par de dedos de espuma. Aroma malteado. Igual que el sabor un tanto dulzón. Cuerpo ligero y alta carbonatación. Tipica lager americana. Sin más.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Grassy smelling. Light golden appearance. Taste is hay and grass, fairly neutral. Do I taste some corn grits? I think so. Taste is just okay, a bit metallic and sulphur tinged, has a bit of corn sugar sweetness, but overall rather meh. When served real cold it is a decent thirst quencher, but nothing special. A warm weather beer.

2.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
This beer is easy to drink...don’t expect wonders, but it’s easy to drink, doesn’t taste bad, is 5% alcohol and very light. I’d drink this beer again, I guess it has gotten low scores because it is a lower quality beer, but it’s not a bad beer. We all need to drink the light stuff once in a while, I can’t drink my expensive microbrews all the time.
