Pours hazy amber, a bit darker shade, topped with large off-white head, pretty lasting. Mild fruity notes combined with nice biscuity maltiness in the aroma. Taste starts sweet, quite fruity actually, followed by medium mild bitterness. Short aftertaste. Nicely drinkable, enjoyable and proper.

Served in a snifter from a 330ml bottle. Pours slightly hazy orange amber colour with a thick diminishing off-white head. Aroma is citrus, mango, grapefruit and pine resin. Taste is citrus, bitter grapefruit, some caramel notes, bitter-sweet, finishing with a well-pronounced pleasant lingering bitterness. The amount of bitterness is just enough to make it enjoyable without being overwhelming on the bitter side. Medium to oily body with a lively carbonation. Extremely nice and enjoyable brew!

BeerViking (4211) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 21, 2016
Bottle from the Plough & Harrow, pours a hazy to cloudy brown with a thin fine lasting head. Moderate carbonation helps bring caramelised marmalade and a little resin out on the nose. Texture is dry yet almost syrupy, a drying bitterness then sweeping across along with light tropical fruit notes and some toasted orange. A hint of ginger and a touch of tar in the background.
