3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle @ The Euston Tap. The pour’s a tawny red color with a small off-white head. The nose is caramel, some red berries, husky grain, some nut and brown bread. The taste is much the same. Nice, fruity sweetness. Red apple skin. A bit of wood. Soft carbonation, silky palate. Overall, a pretty decent effort. It didn’t blow my doors off, but it’s certainly a competent beverage.

Cloudy brown beer with a huge over size pale cream coloured head. A slow but persistent gusher that had to be stood in the sink after opening. Palate is light with fine carbonation. No infected notes in the taste. Somewhat sweet caramel malt with a spice that may be the rye. A sherbet candy sweetness dominates the mid through to the finish. Finishes semi dry. Interesting!
