3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice burnt orange colour but the bottle conditioning caused a huge overflow, which detracted from the experience. Good wheat aroma with a tint of watermelon, which faded in time to be replaced by a faint smokier one. Weird. More bitter and less smoky than expected. A nice intriguing beer but not fully realised in my opinion. Noteworthy addition: this was the first beer of the year I was able to drink on my front porch after work.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at home from odd bins london bridge. Aroma is nutty, praline, and caramel munich malts with a mineral edge to it. Burnt orange colour with a medium hazer and a huge steadfast light cream fluffy head. Flavour is interesting combination of subtle roasty / toasty character initially then slightly sweet caramel praline thing. Very high carbonation, and light bidy. German yeast character is suppressed, but there is a hint of banana in there. Heavy mineral character in the materis a bit odd.
