330ml bottle from Cotteridge Wines. Firstly, lovin these labels from Pressure Drop, this one especially. This pours pale yellow with fast diminishing head, no lacing. Quite spicy and clovey for a wit, a little unbalanced. Light fruit, very light citrus, refreshing but rather underwhelming.

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. This cloudy yellow-white beer pours without any head. It has very sweet vanilla, lemon and mandarin flavours followed by a slight sugary and cream soda finish.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Murky, cold tea colour. Minimal, white head. Not a looker. Ripe banana. Ripe orange. Very herby. Light flora. Taste is syrup sweet. Some herb dryness. Clarty, slightly sickly palate. Finish is sweet. Not keen on this one.

Aussi machable que visuellement affreux avec son tourbillon d’amidon de blé et ses fruits tropicaux qui pavent la voie à la banane cuite.
