3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
330ml bottle from Borough Wines. Very interesting taste indeed, and aroma actually. Hard to place what it is. Fresh herbs, coriander, mint, rosehip, flora, nettle, pot pourri... ok, but not sure I’d go for another.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at the Ledbury, 5/29/16. Murky yellow, with a white head. Some spice, lemon, and wheat. Pretty solid flavor overall. Drinks nicely for the style, just a solid overall effort.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Keg at The Hop Inn, Newcastle-Under-Lyme. A hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of pepper, wheat, some lemon, slight banana, a little apple and herbal hops. Taste of lemon, lime, wheat, some wheat, a little banana and clove plus slight herbal hops. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A short, citrusy hop bitterness in the finish. Don’t know what I think about this, unappealing aroma of pepper and herbs but a nice flavour of citrus and subtle classic Hefeweisse tones. So so.

Smells of cheese, barnyard, and banana. Pours a hazy yellow with a quickly diminishing white head.
Taste is light fruity and refreshing but not really my cup of tea. Has an almost Perry like aftertaste. Would not rush to have again.

Keg at Craft Beer Co, Islington. Cloudy yellow shade. Short white head. Very herbal and floral on the nose; plant stalks come to mind. Similar goings on in the taste. Flavourful and robust for 3.8% but I’m not really feeling this one.
