COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, four women from four breweries came together to craft a beer for hope. Using the finest malts, two strains of hops, and an Ardennes yeast, then adding flavor, aroma, and hue with (hibiscus and pomegranate) they produced a brisk Saison. Slightly tart with subtle fruit-esters, hints of spice, and pink. The brewsters present this beer as a salute to the memory and bravery of those women and men fighting breast cancer, and as a toast to the day when we find the cure. Pretty in Pink: Awareness Ferments Hope. Collaboration between Lost Rhino, Bluejacket, Vintage 50, and Hardywood.

Draft at the brewpub. This is indeed kinda pink. Drinks with a sweet fruity delivery, a vaguely yeasty wheat-like brew, definitely a good juice for the ladies, especially on a hot day. (#5385, 11/30/2013)

I had high hopes for this one, but it fell short. I think I may have had a abad bottle. Appearance was hazy yellow with a slightly pink 4 finger head. Didn’t get much of an aroma on this one. Flavor was nondescript, slightly fruity, slightly sweet, bitter, but not in a good way sometimes finished dry on the plate, sometimes more sweet. To top it off, there was a chunk of green mold when I got to the bottom of the glass.
