draft at bar great harry, brooklyn- no wonder i was a bit more buzzed than usual- pilsner at 7 percent- thought it was quite tasty though- very nice hop profile, and better than average body- enjoyable.

22 oz bottle from the Party Source. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have grainy, bready malts, grass, light citrus, lightly toasted, a light floral character, mild bitterness, nothing bad, just nothing exciting either.

22oz bottle 11/8/14 (Payless Liquors #9-Indy)-Pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of sourness and caramel. Taste of the same with a bit of bread. This light to medium bodied brew is rather tasty.

Bomber poured into a tankard at approximately 45 degrees F. A: Pours a mildly hazy straw-gold, and forms a seriously tall head of white foam even with a delicate pour, which leaves some positively crazy amounts of lacing down the sides of the glass. Carbonation explodes out from the beer during the pour. S: Light toast and biscuit malt, with some mild earthy, floral, and herbal tones. T: Exactly as the aroma. The core is the light toasted biscuit, almost like a plain English muffin, drizzled over with an earthy, grassy bitterness. The lawnmower label is apt, as it tastes like a suburban front yard smells while being mowed, all grass and chlorophyll with a light haze of flowers and pollen. The finish is pure earthen bitterness, which stays for a few moments and then fades abruptly. M:Bubbly and lively, with just a little more heft than an adjunct lager. O: A good go at a yellow lager, much better than an adjunct. I’m glad I gave it a whirl. As a malthead, I’d have liked a little less grass and a little more biscuit, but I know I’m in a minority in that respect.

Not a very complex aroma. It’s mostly just sweet malt. Some hops in the flavor. A little mediciny after taste. I didn’t really like it that much

Sweet bread aroma. Clear straw yellow body with a healthy head about two fingers high. Tastes like it smells as sweet bread with a touch of sour. light bitterness with a hint of smoothness in the finish.

Bottle from Haxton’s, Warwick. Pours a pale translucent copper, decent amount of white head. Aroma comes off as a balance of biscuit malt, sawdust, caramel and just a hint of resin. Interesting, like a a graham cracker baker with marijuana butter. Body light and quick, finish unfolds gradually, with grassy notes intertwining with a more raw barley taste. Way different, I dig this as an ambassador for a style I rarely consume.

Aroma is coppery and floral. Very thin head and light lacing. Pale orange in color. Sourdough taste, balanced by sweet malt. Drinks easy. More complex upon warming. A good lager from Pretty Things brewing.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours hazy light gold with a white head. Aroma is slightly cooked bready with hints of hop. Med body. Flavor is cooked bready with noble hop, and it develops a lot of bitterness in the finish. Fairly flavorful.

Noble Beer Sangha #2: Bottle, malty aroma, cloudy pour, spice flavor with strong indications of Noble hops. Crisp, clean with medium body, mineral note, and slight alcohol warmth.
