Tap at The Jeffrey rating #2700. Golden beer normal white head. Nose is grainy and cereal. Tastes of Irish soda bread, the non marshmallow part of lucky charms, grainy, lemon, and florals. Bitter and hoppy. Crisp with a biting finish

660ml bomber from Belivio. Dark gold, perfectly clear, with a big, fluffy, forever lasting bright white head. Lots of bubbles streaming up, great lacing. Looks lovely! Malty and toasty upfront, quite bready/biscuity, a mild whiff of grass, nuts and earthy hop notes. Quite traditional overall.
Taste pretty much follow suite. Herbal and grassy bitterness togheter with a honey like sweetness, mild astringency without being unpleasent.
Crisp and refreshing as expected, goes down rather smooth. Same nutty and slightly toasty reminiscence in the aftertaste, mildly soapy too, togheter with a lingering fruity (strawberry, peach) sensation.
Average carbonation, medium body, creamy texture. Not bad at all!

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear golden color with a white head. Aroma is of hops, grass, hay, soap, grain, and a little yeast. Heavier palate. Flavors are of hay, hops, malts, grain, and other farm flavors (yes I know how that sounds). Leaves an earthy malt and hop finish. Not that bad. At first I wasn’t too big on it but as I drink this it starts to grow on me.

22 oz bottle from the Party Source. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have grainy, bready malts, grass, light citrus, lightly toasted, a light floral character, mild bitterness, nothing bad, just nothing exciting either.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber poured into a tankard at approximately 45 degrees F.
A: Pours a mildly hazy straw-gold, and forms a seriously tall head of white foam even with a delicate pour, which leaves some positively crazy amounts of lacing down the sides of the glass. Carbonation explodes out from the beer during the pour.
S: Light toast and biscuit malt, with some mild earthy, floral, and herbal tones.
T: Exactly as the aroma. The core is the light toasted biscuit, almost like a plain English muffin, drizzled over with an earthy, grassy bitterness. The lawnmower label is apt, as it tastes like a suburban front yard smells while being mowed, all grass and chlorophyll with a light haze of flowers and pollen. The finish is pure earthen bitterness, which stays for a few moments and then fades abruptly.
M:Bubbly and lively, with just a little more heft than an adjunct lager.
O: A good go at a yellow lager, much better than an adjunct. I’m glad I gave it a whirl. As a malthead, I’d have liked a little less grass and a little more biscuit, but I know I’m in a minority in that respect.
