Welcome to our Field Mouse’s Farewell. It’s a late spring seasonal beer: French, rustic, 7%, full of different grains: Rye, Oats, Wheat and Barley. Like what a mouse would eat. The hops are Strisselspalt from Alsace, and Bramling Cross from England, and we combined Belgian and English yeast strains. Oldy woldy worldy.

backlog. Amber with a firm head. Noble hops in the aroma, some slight earth and leaves. Hints of esters, huge malt profile. Nice enough though

22 oz bottle at The Sovereign. Served in a tulip. Clear golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of herbs, dark fruit, biscuit. Tastes of floral, herbs, biscuit, subtle funk. Medium body with a dry finish. Not aging too well.

Thanks to Gender! Bottle into a tulip showing well filtered orange caramel brown with sparse white foam. The nose shows a lot of sweet caramel malts. The palate is light bodied and well carbonated. Flavors of sweet caramel malts and a light unharmonious bitterness. Not exactly a saison.

650ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a 2 finger white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is tomatoes with some caramel and hints of herbs and grains. Taste is a light spicy and grassy hop bitterness with a light fruity and caramel malty sweetness. Light to medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, this is an interesting and tasty brew, but does not suit the style very well.

bottle. Amber orange with one finger head. I was excited to find this one quite a few months after Pretty Things stopped making beer. Medium sweeetness with caramel and butterscotch notes, maybe a hint of clove. A bit of yeastiness, but not really funky.

Pours a golden amber color with a fluffy head. Aromas of malt, light hops, and some yeasty notes. Flavor is malty with a little hay note...a little too malty sweet for a saison.

Bottle, april 30th 2015. Copper body with a big offwhite head. Aroma is grassy with clove and pepper, taste is sweet honey, yeast and earthy hops. Mild fruityness in finish. A bit too far on the sweet side as a saison for me.

660ml bottle (thanks martjoobolut). Clear dark amber color. Medium size, white head, stays. Sweet, malty, fruity, perfume, yeasty, bit damp hops in aroma. Sweet, malty, perfume, hop pellets, tobacco in taste. Hop pellets, jasmine and citrus in aftertaste. Citrus hoppy bitterness. Fruity mouthfeel. Hops everywhere. Medium carbonation. Tad too sweet for me, but perfectly drinkable otherwise.

660ml bottle - thanks Mart
Sweet fruity aroma. Initially a 7, but it flattens and becomes boring quite quickly. Nice orange small tight head. Moussey palate, a bit heavy, even slimy after it’s warmed a touch. Sweet malts, some bitter woody resiny hops. At least it’s nice and fruity, but the sweetness gets heavy. Finish bitter, and I think some of the acidity does point to rye. Just a touch yeasty, but in a belgian way. Undecided. Took the whole glass o still not be decided.
