COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our first Spring, we brought you a magical tree full of waving babies… and the Baby Tree has stuck around, we’re happy to say. So for our second Spring, and each Spring since, we’ve made a pale gold, hoppy triple called Fluffy White Rabbits. This is a fun and Springy beer: possibly even our fun-est beer. In Yorkshire, they say “White Rabbits” on the first of the month for luck, and here’s to a lovely warm Springtime for all of us!

The beer is 8.5% abv, with Saaz, Styrian Goldings and Strisselspalt hops added aplenty. Fluffy mouthfeel: yes, really! There’s a faint sweetness with tropical fruit undertones. Fluffy White Rabbits is a very “Pretty Things” take on a Triple.

We use what we think are the finest ingredients around: malts from Weyermann (Germany) and Fawcett (Yorkshire) in this beer.

It’s a fun one, we hope you enjoy it!

Poured from a bomber into a brandy glass. The one thing I noticed about PT getting their own bottle caps, is that now they don’t have the batch or brewed on date on the sticker... hopefully, they’re working on that. Decent amount of head, maybe an inch or two. Little to no lacing and just a bit of haze on the top of the liquid. Aroma is pretty typical Belgian and sort of dissipates after a few minutes. Mouthfeel is dead on, medium, slightly syrupy with a good dose of carbonation. Taste is Also typical Trippel. Banana, cloves, lemon, herbs and spices (a little, anyway) and butter. Oh, and there’s a good dose of tropical, mildly bitter hops. They add to the beer and do not overwhelm the other flavors. Overall, I liked this beer. A good sipper and not too heavy. Not sure I’d buy it that often, but considering the good price and the fact that it’s out as a seasonal, I’ll likely pick up another bottle next year.

On draft. The first pour I had was at the end of the keg and it looked like a milkshake it was so yeasty. I tried it again at another location and it looked much better. Didn’t stand out too much for me but was pretty solid none the less. Balance of esters and spice with a good mouth feel..

Pours folden slightly translucent with a big foamy white head with decent lacing. The aroma brings sweet yeast notes, not as much hops as I expected to be there unfortunately. The flavor has a sweet Belgian candi sigar and yeast base on a thicker but perfect body for the style and just a touch of the crisp lightly bitter hops.

Draft @ Sunset Grill and Tap. 4/12/2012. Pours a cloudy gold with a medium, white head in a snifter. Aroma has notes of clove, sweet grains, light fruits and pretty strong floral hops. Very temping nose! Great marriage between an IPA and trippel. Starts off with sweet citrus, candy sugar, Belgian yeast, light spice, and finishes with bitter hops that linger slightly. Couldn’t tell this has an 8.5 ABV. Really tasty and if I didn’t have to sober up and drive, I would have order another.

Bottle shared by NosirIwont. - Thanks! Pours hazy dark yellow with a tiny head. Aroma is fresh plums, belgian trippel-like yeasty, citrusy, orange, kinda funkyness in there too, floral, basement and a bit syntetic on the fruit-side. Taste is sour brettish, lemon peel, yeasty, ripe plums, you get the alcohol, leaves and a dry mouthfeel.

Bottle. Pours a murky orange/yellow with a small white head. Tart, dusty, sugary-sweet aroma with notes of oranges, but still feels fresh. Flavour is tart and fat with a bit of citrus, yeast and a light spicy note. Dry, bitter finish with citrus and an alcohol burn, and a lingering note of grass. A bit too much carbonation. Overall okay, but not that well-balanced. 30.03.12.

Bottle at tasting, courtesy of nosiriwont. Clear yellow pour with a small white head. The nose is heavily estery, medicinal, candy floss, synthetic raspberry, a hint of spice and a clear alcohol presence. The esters also dominate the taste which has oranges, caramel, spices, rather sweet and slightly sugary, but also has astringent yeast component to balance out. Decent.

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg 2011. Hazy yellow color with a thin white head. Wheaty aroam with citric hops, soap, fruit and yeast. Flavour balances between the erathy wheaty tone and the fruity hopinees.
