Our first Spring, we brought you a magical tree full of waving babies… and the Baby Tree has stuck around, we’re happy to say. So for our second Spring, and each Spring since, we’ve made a pale gold, hoppy triple called Fluffy White Rabbits. This is a fun and Springy beer: possibly even our fun-est beer. In Yorkshire, they say “White Rabbits” on the first of the month for luck, and here’s to a lovely warm Springtime for all of us!

The beer is 8.5% abv, with Saaz, Styrian Goldings and Strisselspalt hops added aplenty. Fluffy mouthfeel: yes, really! There’s a faint sweetness with tropical fruit undertones. Fluffy White Rabbits is a very “Pretty Things” take on a Triple.

We use what we think are the finest ingredients around: malts from Weyermann (Germany) and Fawcett (Yorkshire) in this beer.

It’s a fun one, we hope you enjoy it!

A hazy orange pour with a thine white head. Aroma is sweet with light fruits, citrus, lemon, and orange mostly. Flavor is light with a refreshing finish. Mostly citrus and light fruits. Really nice.

Tap. Golden with one finger head. Light fruitiness with mild sweetness. Bready with a bit of citrus. Mild hops in the finish. Strange take on a Tripel. I can?t decide if it works or not.

Pour is a clear golden with a large white head. Aroma is yeasty banana esters with some pale malt and sugar. Flavor is some grass, dry bready malt with some yeasty spice. Finish is some pepper and but also a bit sweet and acidic. Not any more hoppy then a normal triple but it’s a well made beer and the alcohol is hidden well.

Bottle back from San Fran. Has that Belgian spice note on the finish like a triple. Pours a reddish orange. Light citrus sweet aroma and flavors. Finish is a little citrus bitter. Big body and chewy malt flavor. All working together pretty subtle. Not usually a fan of triples but this one works for me.

Super interesting and delicious take on the style. Brighter than expected, likely due to the job varieties. Super refreshing beyond spring!

Big growing head sticks about. Nose of light grass. This was my bedtime beer...it did just that. Gentle yet full bodied.. a bit too sweet and slick. For an Abbey triple it was still on the lighter side of what I expected. A bit boring, but it did make me snore and annoy the wife.

22oz., bottled March 2015. Sweet, fruity aroma, plenty of tropical fruit, citrus, honey, and floral tones, with lighter notes of bubblegum, melon and pale malts. Lightly hazy light-medium golden in color with a very fine, subsiding head. Flavor profile is sweetly sugary, malty and fruity with tropical fruity, estery tones galore, more citrus and a generous dosage of hop bitterness appearing towards the finish, some alcohol is faintly detectable here as well. Palate is surprisingly hefty and low in effervescence lending a syrupy feel and showing some mild warmth. Body is fairly full. Interesting Tripel rendering.

Bottle at home while watching a German Western which was decent on Netflix. Golden pour with frothy head. Nose is yeasty and some banana. Tastes of light banana, yeast, bubblegum, some pine cones, vanilla, and medicinal. Pleasant palate that isnt too sweet ot chewy.

On draught at Apex. Clear golden. Notes of plum, caramel, yeast, pistachio, light yeast, and candi sugar.

The beer pours a slightly hazy golden with a large white head that fades slowly. The aroma is heavy with Belgian yeast, but there is some white pepper and white pepper floating underneath. The beer is slightly sweet and slightly sour with a grainy and slightly spicy aftertaste. The palate fuses a soft carbonation, thick texture, and a medium body.
