Our first Spring, we brought you a magical tree full of waving babies… and the Baby Tree has stuck around, we’re happy to say. So for our second Spring, and each Spring since, we’ve made a pale gold, hoppy triple called Fluffy White Rabbits. This is a fun and Springy beer: possibly even our fun-est beer. In Yorkshire, they say “White Rabbits” on the first of the month for luck, and here’s to a lovely warm Springtime for all of us!

The beer is 8.5% abv, with Saaz, Styrian Goldings and Strisselspalt hops added aplenty. Fluffy mouthfeel: yes, really! There’s a faint sweetness with tropical fruit undertones. Fluffy White Rabbits is a very “Pretty Things” take on a Triple.

We use what we think are the finest ingredients around: malts from Weyermann (Germany) and Fawcett (Yorkshire) in this beer.

It’s a fun one, we hope you enjoy it!

22oz bottle 11/18/14 (Payless Liquors #9-Indy)-40° in Trappist Glass-Pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus, and wheat. Taste of the same. This light to medium bodied brew is a different take and still tasty.

Alla spina all’IBF. Aroma maltato, miele millefiori, speziato, pepato, erbaceo. Al palato nota alcoolica e leggermente sbilanciata sul dolce nonostante note erbceo e fruttate nel finale.

Rather hoppy for a tripel as promised. Really nice aroma and real smooth to drink. Really good.

Poured a cloudy light orange color with aromas of grass, coriander, wheat, yeast and some light lemon. Flavors matched the aromas with some light wheat and yeast in aftertaste. Surprised with how well the abc is hidden in this one.

Bottle. Moderate grain for the malt, flowers and meyer lemon for the hops, light soap for the yeast, with green wood, coriander and pepper in the background. Head is small, frothy, white with a spot or two of lacing and good legs, and is mostly diminishing. Color is hazy golden amber. Flavor starts lightly to moderately sweet and acidic, then finishes lightly to moderately acidic and a lengthy amount of heavy bitternes. Palate is on the fuller side of medium, oily with a lively to fizzy carbonation, and a lightly alcoholic and very dry finish. A lighter Abbey Tripel than most but tasty start to finish.

Pours with slight haze, light amber color, very small head but persists. Aroma is Belgian fruity, sour. Taste is light malt body and some hop flavor. Very nice triple interpretation.

Very hazy golden coloured body with a straw glow and a nice and relatively dense one centimetre tall just tan colour. Aroma of grass, coriander seed, lemons, straw, hay and a ton of yeast - very strong in that department, but nice. Full-bodied; Very rich flavour of coriander seed, yeast, wheat, grass, hay and a lot of honey sweetness tucked in with even more curacao. Aftertaste shows a very pleasant blend of honey, grass, yeast and oranges with a light grain and corn finish. Overall, a very nice tripel with not so much hops noticed, but more of the tripel stylings, all with a very rich mouthful and a sweet finish - nice, but pretty much just a standard tripel - don’t pay attention to ’hoppy’ on the name. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 19-July-2014 for US$8,00 sampled at home in Washington on 14-September-2014.

12oz draft poured in snifter. Nice golden color. Aromas of peanuts, lemon, yeasty white bread. Flavors of lemon, mainly Belgian yeast. Good beer, Belgians aren’t my normal. Need to strengthen my senses on them.

On tap straw color with lacy white head. Taste is malt, spice with a distinct hop bite. Over hopped triple is not my favorite style. This one is just OK.
