Our first Spring, we brought you a magical tree full of waving babies… and the Baby Tree has stuck around, we’re happy to say. So for our second Spring, and each Spring since, we’ve made a pale gold, hoppy triple called Fluffy White Rabbits. This is a fun and Springy beer: possibly even our fun-est beer. In Yorkshire, they say “White Rabbits” on the first of the month for luck, and here’s to a lovely warm Springtime for all of us!

The beer is 8.5% abv, with Saaz, Styrian Goldings and Strisselspalt hops added aplenty. Fluffy mouthfeel: yes, really! There’s a faint sweetness with tropical fruit undertones. Fluffy White Rabbits is a very “Pretty Things” take on a Triple.

We use what we think are the finest ingredients around: malts from Weyermann (Germany) and Fawcett (Yorkshire) in this beer.

It’s a fun one, we hope you enjoy it!

Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow with large frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is strong yeast, bubblegum, and clove. Medium mouthfeel with citrus and yeast with light dry finish. Good.

Nice Belgian and white combo, a little chalky but smooth. Nice balance but nothing stands out too much.

Great Belgian appearance, hazy orange with a slightly tan head that lasts for ages. Banana and alcohol on the nose. Flavor is syrupy-sweet with plenty of apricot and other fruits. Not much hop presence, mostly bitterness. Mouthfeel is thick and grainy, but with too much apparent alcohol heat. This isn’t bad or offensive or anything, it just doesn’t come together well.

Bottle from Proof. Slightly hazy golden pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is bubble gum, yeast esters, Belgian candi sugars with some floral and grassy notes. Flavor is similar and sweet throughout with as grassy and floral hop bite at the end. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. Not bad.

Cloudy orange with white head. Aroma is strongly citrus. Taste is not as hippy as expected and over balanced sweet. Still very enjoyable.

This beer has the aroma of grapefruit. It has a gold color and a strong bite of hops. We paired it with a mushroom tart. It took some of the bite away and left a sweet flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A nice if a bit average Belgian. Pours a nice looking cloudy orange with a white head. Smells of Belgian and a bit of grapefruit. Berries and grapefruit in the taste, with a slight hoppiness throughout. Paired sleuth mushroom Swiss tartlets, the hoppiness is cut a bit with some sweetness coming in. Had in the bottle.
