Our first Spring, we brought you a magical tree full of waving babies… and the Baby Tree has stuck around, we’re happy to say. So for our second Spring, and each Spring since, we’ve made a pale gold, hoppy triple called Fluffy White Rabbits. This is a fun and Springy beer: possibly even our fun-est beer. In Yorkshire, they say “White Rabbits” on the first of the month for luck, and here’s to a lovely warm Springtime for all of us!

The beer is 8.5% abv, with Saaz, Styrian Goldings and Strisselspalt hops added aplenty. Fluffy mouthfeel: yes, really! There’s a faint sweetness with tropical fruit undertones. Fluffy White Rabbits is a very “Pretty Things” take on a Triple.

We use what we think are the finest ingredients around: malts from Weyermann (Germany) and Fawcett (Yorkshire) in this beer.

It’s a fun one, we hope you enjoy it!

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with a thin white head. Aroma of bready malt, light fruits, citrus, clove, melon. Flavor of sweet fruits, bready malt, sweet malt, just a hint of peppery spices. It’s good, but not really hoppy. Pretty drinkable for an 8.5%. 7/4/7/4/14 (3.6/5)

Bomber. Pour is a hazy light orange with a big fluffy white head and aromas of white grape juice, a little grass and honey. Flavor is big and fairly sweet with a nice touch of tropical fruit and grassy hops that give it a little uniqueness. It’s a little less boozy and sticky than many tripels, which I appreciate.

Lemon and yeast aroma. Clear golden color with a healthy frothy head that settles to a quarter inch. Bitter start followed by a mild sourness. Sweetens a little as it warms up. Seems to mellow as you drink it. Recommend worth trying.

Bottle shared by danielcoor. Poured cloudy amber color with an average frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Complex spicy citrus and yeast aroma. Medium to abundant body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy citrus bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration with a small alcohol bite. This is a refreshing good beer.

22oz bottle, bottled April 2013. Shared by DanielCoor. Bright, hazy golden orange color. Good thin lightly bubbly off-white head. Loose splotchy lace. Citrusy, light grassy hop aroma. Light on the banana, some zesty citrus. Good hearty yeast character. Bigger body. Smooth, lightly soft lighter carbonation. More dry in the finish. Nice hoppy, zesty, citrus-peely tripel.
