COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our first Spring, we brought you a magical tree full of waving babies… and the Baby Tree has stuck around, we’re happy to say. So for our second Spring, and each Spring since, we’ve made a pale gold, hoppy triple called Fluffy White Rabbits. This is a fun and Springy beer: possibly even our fun-est beer. In Yorkshire, they say “White Rabbits” on the first of the month for luck, and here’s to a lovely warm Springtime for all of us!

The beer is 8.5% abv, with Saaz, Styrian Goldings and Strisselspalt hops added aplenty. Fluffy mouthfeel: yes, really! There’s a faint sweetness with tropical fruit undertones. Fluffy White Rabbits is a very “Pretty Things” take on a Triple.

We use what we think are the finest ingredients around: malts from Weyermann (Germany) and Fawcett (Yorkshire) in this beer.

It’s a fun one, we hope you enjoy it!

Cloudy orange pour with a 3 finger, frothy off white head. Aroma is citrus, bread, toast, caramel, cereal, a little toffee, tree fruit and spicy phenols. Flavor is sweet caramel, sweet malt, spicy phenols (a little pepper, lots of earth pie spice), light buttery toffee nuts, citrus and spicy, earthy hops. Syrupy, somewhat chewy feel throughout with a light to medium strength, blanketing carbonation. Pretty good overall, solid Tripel with no big faults other than value. It doesn’t have any effect on my score, but $14/bomber is a bit much for a decent Tripel.

Tap@Fermentoren, Copenhagen (26/06/2016) - fuzzy golden pour with a white head. Fruity and light malty aroma and taste, light caramel sweetness, some citric lemon flavour, yeasty, some grassy and floral nuances going on, citric spice towards the finish.

Amber and medium-bodied. Sour and fruity aroma, with fruity, spicy and hoppy flavours. Lightly sweet with moderate bitterness. Overall, just above average. I like tripels, but I think this beer is rather bland.

Well, this one had a tough place to fill in a pretty hefty lineup. But, it filled the role well. Hops and triple for me have always been separate hunts, but combined here in a pleasing fashion. Poured from the bomber. Shared with a good friend.
