3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Slowbeer (Feb 2013). Bright, clear golden, small white head, saison yeast character dominates, peppery/spicy, preserved lemons, dusty dry bitterness, slightly soapy finish. Nice.

Quando l’ho assaggiata pensavo di essere in Vallonia, talmente è fedele allo stile. Speziata al naso, e davvero godibile al palato.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at Mikkeller Bar Stockholm, april 19th 2014. Hazy orange body with a nice white head. Citrusy aroma with flowers, peppery yeast, long sweet fruit. Taste has a notable saison yeast note, and apples also sweet rye and malt, a tad sweet for me, and a strong malty and citric finish. Quite malty for a saison.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Julio’s. Clear golden color, minimal head. Aroma lacks fruitiness, but a distinct herbal mustiness. Flavor does have some pear like fruit flavors, a lot of some spice...maybe coriander? Dry mouthfeel. Well balanced. Good effort.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
65 cl bottle @ home. Pours hazy golden with a lot of sediment and a white head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma and flavour are spices, lemons, herbs, and yeast - with a bitter finish.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
@Basunen 14-8-16: riktig trevlig doft, lite söt och med tydliga drag mot veteöl. Smaken är lite söt men med en fin balans mot frukt och krydda. Ingen större brett eller torrhet men trevlig åndå.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from Wines and More of Rhode Island. No clear glassware was available in my hotel room so I cannot really see the beer. It smells like a saison with that distinctive yeast and malt character. Flavor is pretty much down the middle for the style. Not really exciting but a solid beer. A bit of spice along with the yeast and malts. Throw in some light citrus. This just a bit soapy which is as it should be. A nice beer.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Has bread/yeast aroma with a touch of orange. Milky burnt yellow color a good two inch head. Bread like taste with a slightly sour finish. Bubbles attack your tongue with the carbonation. Some hint of lemon in the background. Finish is a light mix of sweet and sour. Refreshing overall and enjoyable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Amber with a small white head.
Aroma has (surprisingly) lots of bready malt, orange and clementine.
Taste has caramel/fudge and a nice grapefruit and herbal bitterness.
Medium body, soft carbonation.
Short after taste.
While not very true to the style, this was a good beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Good rating on this one prompted me to grab it, hope it’s good. Pours a clear yellow-gold with a decent white head. Nose of grainy malts, yeast, bubble-gum, citrus. Mild creamy malts, citric acid, some bubble-gum and a touch of cilantro-type herbal-ness. Not bad.
