Thanks to coldbrewky for this bottle! Aroma:Smells slightly fruity, floral, peppery. Appearance:Pale gold in color. Lots of thick white head (big bubbles). very visible carbonation. Low head retention though. Taste:The foretaste is peppery and a little bitter. This flavor fades and becomes more earthy through the midtaste, and then surprisingly changes to a sweet fruit-punch like flavor with no hop bitterness in the aftertaste. Palate:Light body, alcohol is well hidden. Very high carbonation. Overall:I really enjoy the flavor on this one, itís full of delightful complexity. This has to be one of the best Saisons that Iíve ever had.

Darker gold with big, foamy, white head / Elegant, delicate, nose of bubblegum, orange, banana, and spice / Medium body, stylish with soft carbonation, fine balance and lightly bitter finish / Flavors of grain, honey, violets, orange, dry hops, apples, and banana / Understated and excellent.

Hazy amber/orange body, with a RICH white head. This was a very foamy beer, so the head took a while to settle down. Great head retention and lacing! Itís virtually impossible to imagine a more complex saison smell. Flowers, lemon, apples and white grapes, caramel, grass, yeast, and toasted bread are just some of the aromas I got. Wow, this beerís taste is beyond being simply complex; there is so much going on, itís even hard to list all the tasting notes one can get. Start out with a good moderate citrus hop bite (with some juicy grapefruit notes), then an apparent sweetness comes through, together with fruity (apples, white grapes, gooseberries, pear) and flowery notes. Some good toffee notes. Some funky yeastiness. Some vanilla-like notes. The finish is a bit dry and slightly bitter. Once the beer warms up, I got a very pronounced peach flavour from it. Absolutely amazing! Medium-bodied. Some lively carbonation. Very soft on the palate overall, this beer coats the mouth very nicely. No real alcohol taste to speak of at first, but as the beer warms up it can be felt just a little bit. Drinks like a charm. Being quite juicy and fruity, this beer begs for you to drink it swig by swig. But do not succumb to its charms, take your time!

This and Red Barn (Lost Abbey) are my two favorite saisons. Jack is a smooth, balanced delight. Floral hops dance under your nose. Peppery-focused grassy and floral hop notes sweetly permeate your taste buds with a nice mouthfeel no less. The pepper lingers, and the sweetness is joined by a slight bitterness. Just wonderful. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle pours hazy dull copper with a big giant and pillow like head and much lace. The aroma is spicy and yeasty. The flavor is nice and sweet, spiced, yeasty, some passion fruit, and some finishing hops to change it all up in the end. The palate is pretty rich and lets you know it is there. Overall, very nice.

Clean golden appearance. Rose water, fresh hops, citrus and some champagne yeast. Drinkable, tasteful and just loads of flavour. Absolutely great. (At De Molen tasting)

Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with a big frothy head... Aromas are bright citrus, grass, dough, lemon zest and light malts. On the palate the flavors really come together and brighten the aromas into a refreshing quenching saison that has a great astringency but never goes to over board with a nice light malty pilsner type backbone. Great Saison !

Bottled Nov. 2011 Great rendition of a farmhouse ale. Aromas and flavors of dough and yeast, with tons of lemon and spice layered on top. Soft, velvety mouthfeel, with silky carbonation. Great balance of flavors, bitterness, sourness and carbonation. A good brew. --- tasted while on a long journey to understand the world around me...

Bottled March 2012 Served in a Duvel tulip. A - Pour a hazy golden color with bright white moundy head that forms a thick collar and a thin cap of micro bubbles. S - Spicy wheat and pilsner malts, wildflower honey, dusty hay, dry and yeasty, old wood, some basement funk, floral. Funk really comes out as it warms. Lots going on here. T - Starts sweeter than expected with juicy pear and apple fruit, dried hay, grassy and earthy bitterness comes in with a touch of basement wood. Peppery yeast, honey, and lavender are another layer and come out more as it warms. Bright citrus and notes of old bubblegum really comes out on the finish. M - Soft and smooth body with ample carbonation. Light to medium weight. Dry finish. Very complex beer that melds together perfectly. Lots of mellow components that when combined create a layered and complex drink thatís very tasty. Worth seeking out. Serving type: bottle 10-13-2012

Bottle: A hazy, pale, straw coloured beer with a quaint, perfectly formed and lasting head. I like the bottle design here too. Sour lemon aromas with rustic maltiness. A bready fud lingers over this with some lovely little hops wafts fighting their way through. Rounded maltiness and citrus fuzz in the mouth. Lovely acidity here. Very refreshing fruitiness with notes of easy peaches. A good bitterness leads out of the citrus sours. Delightful progression. This is a fantastic. A beautiful brew.
