COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Meadowlark IPA is a new juicy and floral hoppy ale we brewed to celebrate the flavor and spirit of American craft brewing. This 7% alcohol beer has a sunny orange-gold colour, 60 International Bittering Units, a smooth mouthfeel and layers of soft flowery hops. We wove fragrant Citra and Bravo hops from the Pacific Northwest with intensely fruity Galaxy hops from Australia. The malts are English pale & crystal, flaked barley with malty highlights from Munich malt and Roast Barley. The resulting patchwork is as “American” tasting as short ribs and slaw, and provides an excellent accompaniment to that kind of food too!

Delicious, well balanced ipa. Golden pour with big off-white head. Citrusy nose, smooth but resiny body. Loads of hop character without being a hop monster. clean bitter finish. Would love this in 6 packs. quite nice.

Bomber from Nikki’s, Providence. Pours a hazy orange color with a large creamy off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of floral, herbal and faintly earthy hops, bready malts, faint butter and even mild hints of corn and sugar. The taste is bready malts, that same faint butter note, citrus and herbal hops. Medium bodied, well balanced and refreshing. I’m liking this!

Bottle. Poured golden/orange with white head and excellent lacing. Bright flavors rounding to excellent bitterness at the finish with a great malt/hops balance.

Bomber. Clear golden body with a frothy white head, slowly diminishing. Enticing aroma of fresh hops, citrus, toasted grain, resin, tropical fruits. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Fantastic balance. A sweet IPA — orange juice, sweet grapefruit, citrus — that works well with resin bitterness. The beer is clean, fresh. Just when you start to think it’s too sweet, the bitterness kicks in. Could drink lots of this beer.

Extracts? Great lace. Pretty clear decent color more gold than orange. Big bitterness. Grapefruit-lemon rind. Not bad but there is nothing here special that Hopheads haven’t experienced hundreds of times at a much lower price per bottle. $8.49 ouch! Nice aftertaste. One time try for me.

Bottle poured a bright orange amber color with a one finger white head. Aroma is big and juicy, resins, citrus, fruity, floral honey sweetness, and light perfume. Mouth feel is on the light side of medium and the carbonation on the lower side. Flavor has a bit more bitterness, citrus, pine resins, mild grapefruit, and a bit more malt than expected. Very nice hop blasted beer but there is a bit of minerals that just stands out to me.

Bottle from Decicco, bottled Aug 2012. Nice hazy copper with lasting head and lace. Floral citrus and woody hop aroma. Toasted fruity melon toffee sweetness with juicy hops and juicy fresh hoppy slightly toasty malty roundness and medium assertive finish medium dry. Nice soft mouthfeel and carbo. Excellent balance. Fucking excellent.

Lots of earth and flowers on the aroma. Clear deep gold with a nice white head. Bitter and dry finish. With floral, perfume and earth flavors. Malt backbone is very nice.

Bottle. Pours hazy amber with a medium off white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is caramel, pine, citrus. Flavor is the same, lightly sweet and bitter, with bitterness increasing into the finish. Medium bodied and a bit oily. Pleasant, but not really my wheelhouse. I did not get the strong fruitiness - maybe my bottle sat in the store too long...
