5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Rich candy-like sweetness up front, heavy mouthfeel, notes of caramel and toffee, a touch bready with almost a scotch-ale-like malt quality, very smooth finish. Low bitterness for a barley wine.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared at Crooked Stave. Pour is murky brown with a small tan head and good lacing. Big caramel malty, light spice, figgy, grapey, light oxidation, cherry pits, and toffee in the aroma. Taste is raisins, toffee, prunes, whoppers, light bread, and dark fruits with some heat on the backend. Full mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Good stuff and never would have guessed it was 13.5%

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Taster at Zeebra II.
Hazy light brown colour on the body, with a small light brown head, low retention - at least on my taster- light lacing on the glass.
Malty aroma but with nice fruity notes, ripe pears, even some bubblegum.
Taste is also malty, quite bitter though with floral notes, very fruity too, caramel. Even more bitter on the aftertaste.
Medium thin body with good carbonation.
Overall good tasty beer, made me wish I had more of this.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Amber mahogany in color... Aroma of hazelnuts, vanilla, raisins, and Belgian candi sugar... Flavor is a little off initially, some heat with candi sugar, toffee, dark fruits, finishes with smoke and roasted malt notes... Okay

I think Lubiere brought this to Spinrsx tasting. 2011 bottle. Murky dark mahogany with a tan head that disappears. Candied Belgian yeast, oak, sugar, oak, fig, boozy, dry, mild+ carbonation and moderate+ body, somewhat boozy, bit of toffee and malt. Enjoyable.

Bottle, thanks Eddan.
Clear dark reddish/brown with a small head. Sweet with fruit, toffee, alcohol and malt. The body was medium and the finish was quite long. A descent one.

Sweet malty beer, but in a good way. Sugary and fruity, with some nice spices.

@zebf 2014 - Clear brown appearance. Aroma is boozy, sweet and reminds me of fruity cake. Itís a very sweet beer but remains palatable.
