UPDATED: APR 14, 2014 Pours dark brown with quickly dissipating off white head. Aroma is nothing particular. Hops don’t even make a presence other than to balance out the maltiness. Rustic brown does this justice as a type. Medium bodied and light flavors of raisins.

Bottle from South Bay Liquor (vintage May 2011): Aroma is subtle with minimal amounts of sweet caramelized malts and a whiff of alcohol. Liquid appearded as a dark leather brown hue with a frothy layer of foam head. The flavor has started to fade away and only brings about sweet notes of toffee or caramel and nothing more. Aged well considering this it is the month of April in 2013.
