COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The use of Aussie Stella hops are used to create a beer that’s got big tropical (and herbal) aromas and a sizeable bitterness playing with the flavours and body you might expect in a wheat beer. There are some sweet malt flavours in its cloudy yellow mix too, while the bitterness blends with a dryness to create what’s akin to a summer refresher on steroids.

Very pale with smooth light head. Distinct taste that is very pleasant. Easy to drink especially as I had it (poured from bottle into a chilled glass). Not usually a fan of Prickly Moses but this impressed me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Brilliant wheat bix have nothing on this wheat brew. It is so satisfying to rock up at a new place for dinner and have the opportunity to get the palate still mutated by such a refreshing taste that is dry and tart with an exciting hop aroma. Great work "Ella" get hopping. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone by Rox

Name might be apt as the Ella hops give a sharp kick on first taste. Still pleasant. Stone fruit follow the nice aroma. 1.3std drinks. 330ml. 5.8% ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had it from bottle at jack rabbit winery. A very nice beer in a warm day, tastes somewhere between a pale ale and wheat beer, even though it’s a wheat beer. It uses Ella hops which is interesting, providing an aroma similar to galaxy. Not an outstanding beer but goes down well on a summers day. I would drink this again.

Tap @ The Taphouse. Light gold. Lots of tropical fruit on the nose. Tart wheat flavours backed up with some good dry, spicy hop notes. Went well with a bowl of mussels

Drank completely blind with respect to the style. Very powerful and refreshing. Some citrus and an absolutely wonderful lick of chalk and talcum powder - very kolsch-like in this respect. Could drink this all day.

States "Australian Wheat" and "Stella" on the label.
Hazy yellow color, white head. Sweet, fruity scent. Sweet, herbal, grainy taste. Dry, bitter aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium high dry bitterness.

Bottle from Slow Beer. Slightly hazy, pale straw, wheat characters are there (spice, clove, banana), but hidden under the hops with sweet passionfruit, citrus, floral. A really complex, interesting combination, liked it a lot.

330ml stubbie. Poured a cloudy golden straw colour with a two-finger white foamy head that slowly diminished and laced OK. Moderate to high carbonation with lots of small bubble trails. Aroma sweet with a hint of spice. Taste initally a bit spicy then thin/watery mid-palate followed by a very faint hops after-taste. Light body. An earthy and slightly acidic finish leaves a sour taste in the mouth.

330ml bottle from Warners at the Bay Bottle Shop. Lots of fluffy white foam as you expect from a wheat ale. Hazy amber colour with a fruity hop aroma that is not too bad. Clean and refreshing in the mouth and the flavour is quite good. A bit light on the palate but overall pretty good.
