330ml bottle. Vibrant orange colour with a deep head that settles slowly. Strong aroma of caramel malt is pleasing and the flavour is strong and well rounded.

Clear honey coloured body with diminishing head. Malty aroma, sweet with biscuit and caramel. Taste is similar though not sweet, light to medium body and an improvement on some of their other beers.

UPDATED: OCT 30, 2010 Pours amber with a large lasting head. Nose shows plenty of biscuity, bready and nutty malt with subtle earthy and faintly spicy hops. Very nice, really appetising. Some of the malt transfers through as flavours but the bitterness is a little metallic. Still very enjoyable. Body is perhaps a little watery. Very pleased with this, especially considering how dissapointing many of their other beers were.

Bottle. Honey-coloured with an inch of off-white head. Lots of lacing. Nose is quite rich and fruity with some earth. Taste has some caramel sweetness and grainy lager sourness with solid drying bitterness. Neither oversweet nor over-rich. Fresh and highly gluggable.

From a 330ml bottle on 10/10/2010. The aroma is grassy and bready, with some toffee. The taste is mainly some sweetish malt with a touch of fruit. Has a nice long hoppy finish - definitely has more than a dash of pilsener like character to it. Noting that lagers are not designed to rock your world, this is very enjoyable for its style.

Bottle. Pours a nice golden amber with smallish cream coloured head. Aromas of malt and perhaps just a little toast. Quite subtle. Flavours show some malt giving away to some hop bitterness on the finish. Not a bad effort.

I thought these things were meant to be released in October. Anyway, ok kind of beer but spectacularly unspectacular. Some sweetish fruit and iron early but this gives way to a more muted fruits in the palate leading to some tingly fruits on the finish. Not at all bad and ok value at $6.

Pours yellow, golden with a nice thick fizzy head that leaves nice lacing. Nose has biscuity, grainy malt with some pils malt sweetness. Palate is much the same, with a nice bitterness to round off. Good & well made but nothing earth shattering.
