(Bottle 50 cl) Dark brown with an orangey glow and a creamy, beige head leaving some laces. Sweetish aroma of roasted malt. Very full body - huge body - with tons of roasted malt and a lightly burned edge. Sweet - cloyingly sweet. Like a Danish "Hvidtřl" on mescaline. Basically no bitterness. Quite inharmonious. 290406

Bottled. Dark rubyish brown colour with small brown head while pouring, but then disappears fast. Sparkling. A lot. Aroma of slight roast, alcohol, licorace and coffee. Flavour is chocolate, coffee, toffee and slightly roasted malts. Scary, the alcohol is not noted in the flavour almost at all. Slightly fruitish hints also noteable.

Dark brown color. Pretty good doppelbock, malty enough, quite sweet; caramel; traces of roasted nuts. Balanced sweetness/bitterness and doesn’t show too much the alcohol content. Yet, not enough aromatic nor complex.

Bottle. A clear looking brown beer with a small, off-white to beige head. Roasted, sweetish aromy with some alcohol and a solid dose of dark, dried fruits. Really sweet on the palate, with some warming alcohol and a soft carbonation. Some bitterness towards the end, with a lot of dried fruits initially. A touch of roasted malts and also some caramel. Damn it’s soft on the palate. Overall, maybe a bit sweet, but I think it’s a damn fine beer anyway. 120804
