3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
0.5l bottle courtesy of and shared with ogivlado who brought it from ČR (thanks!).
Poured a brownish bronze colour with a persistant white head. Woody and grainy nose, some rice. Sweet and nice. The taste is watery overall but smooth, silky and drinkable. Herbal, somewhat agrumey hopiness, some hoppy bitterness near the end, woody maltienss, hop in the aftertaste. And all went well until some vegetable instant soup notes started to pop up for some reason. Shame, without that and with more body it’d be great.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(bottle, 33cl) Poured in glass as only foam. A dark ember beer with extremely thick foam. The aroma was very hoppy as expected. The taste on the other hand was sweet with raisin and some roasted caramel. The palate was low and so was aftertaste.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: AUG 28, 2009 Clear nutty amber-brown color with orange hues. Frothy slightly lacing off-white head. Fresh, fruity aroma with apples, pears, and nutty malt sweetness. Medium sweet malty based flavor with honey, pear and apple, heavy grassy hop finish. A little bit rustic in the aftertaste, but very refreshing.
Light to medium bodied, sparkling carbonation, thin texture. Not reminds me any kind of English Ale that i’ve sampled so far. Quaint..

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Golden with a big white head. Aroma has caramel and a little citrus, and maybe a hint of honey. Dry caramel malty flavour with a little hop flavour. It’s straightforward and boring, but it does have some English character.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Rated 01 01 2009
Bottle brown, 500ml,
Appearance pours perfectly clear body texture and mild carbonation, body colour is intensive, beautiful cooper like a nice tea, slightly orangy with character, head is off white, frothy to creamy, very dense, intensive, thick, compact, regular in structure, initially huge, very slowly decreasing to medium, long lasting with perfect lacing,
Aroma front is yeasty and mild, though intensive, than herbal, earthy, leavy hoppyness on top together with mild, crisp and clean malted barley background, very clear and chewy, inviting aroma,
Flavour generally flavour is mild, non intensive but denotes many features similar to some extant to English Bitter however not that pronounced, this beer presents a very nice try of creating non typical style to Czech brewing tradition and it is well done, maybe not the best but still worth interest and trying, it presents nice crispness, gentle yeasty note, crystalized malt, gently spiced with hops, note of Challanger hops, chewy, gently astringent with clean and medium finish duration,
Palate body is medium, very drinkable beer, texture is gently dry, carbonation on palate is soft, finish feel is very clean, pleasant, refreshing, herbal, moderately astringent, well hidden alcohol
