Odd, an English pale ale with notes of butter. Amber coloured and clear. Has a white head, mostly lasting. Sweet aroma, notes of butter, faint hops, herbal. Flavor is starting sweet, has a nice bitter finish. Dry texture and soft carbonation.

(Draught at Milenka, 20120306) The beer poured copper coloured and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had butter, grass and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, butter, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was buttery, malty and bitter. Technically this may be an ale but all the scents and flavours are the ones of a Czech lager and not a good one.

Bottle. Clear amber to brown colour. Small airy head, quickly deteriorating. Aroma of caramel, honey, hops. Taste medium sweet, light bitter. The bitterness gets stronger over time. Light bitter-sweet finish.

Balazs (787) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - FEB 7, 2012
Bottle from csakajosor.hu. Poured amber color with an active tan foam that reduced to a lacing one. Caramel, corn, pine, citrus peel in the nose. Light body with matching carbonation. Caramel sweet taste with hints of honey sweetness and light bitterness in the finish. Not very exciting, but it is pretty much what I expected. It"s OK, for mostly a summer day when you work outside. Thirst cruncher.

UPDATED: APR 26, 2012 S pivy tohohle druhu nemám žádno zkušenost, takže jen porovnávám: Barva: Tmavší jantarová barva, čiré, pěna středně hustá, držící. Vůně : sladová, později se objevují lehce ovocné tóny. Chuť : v chuti příjemné ovocné tóny, citrusové, se středním chmelovým dozvukem.

Thomasalias (320) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JAN 22, 2012
0,5l bottle from Csakajósör, Budapest. Clear light amber color with light beige frothy head. Hoppy aroma, not as agressive as american ones, but delicious and good. Spices and herbs with some malty hay too. Medium bitter taste. Medium body with creamy texture and average carbonation. Bitter malty-hoppy spicy finish. It’s a very good beer. It’s like classic English ales. Maybe this is the best Primator.
