BOTM club. Pours a clear golden yellow from the bottle with thin ring of bubbly white head that barely sticks. Aroma of sweet bready malts, taste follows with no real hint of the booze. Again, not great, but not horrible.

Aroma is bread, toffee, malts and a strong hint of sweetness. The flavor is toffee, medium sweetness, an undercurrent of citrus hops and a tart/tangy finish.

Boring. Pours a nice clear orange color with a white head. Smells like beer. Tastes like beer, maybe a hint of honey, and a slightly hoppy finish. Nothing memorable. Had with beer of the month club. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear amber color with moderate head that quickly dissipates. Nose is funky with a hit of flowers - not my favorite. Taste is caramel, malt , a touch of honey. It's ok - not bad, but not something I would go out of my way for, either. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A - Light amber body, super clear. Two fingers of foamy white head. S - Grain, earthy husk, slight sourness, honey, old dough. T - Sweet grain at the start but quickly turns to an herbal, minty perfumey, earthy bitterness. Finishes with a tangy lemon sweetness. M - Medium to full body, creamy carbonation. There’s something off-putting in the flavors. Almost like a forced herbal mint. Didn’t come together very well. Serving type: bottle 10-29-2011

Bottle: Orange hued, creamy head. Chill hazed. Vegetal nose. Wets the palate nicely. Malty, crisp with a nice bitter finish. ~m --RaucusBacchus

Helles Bernstein, feiner Schaum. Fruchtig-apfeliges Aroma mit Honig. Vollmundiger Antrunk. Malzgeschmack mit getreidigen Noten, bittert angenehm nach. Nicht super-komplex, aber süffig.

Light grain and moderate malt aroma. Clear orange color with a large white head. Sweet taste throughout with a slightly bitter finish.

Fatehunter (1179) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - JAN 25, 2013
One finger of head on an almost clear copper colored body. The aroma is wet hay and barnyard with the slightest lemon. Bold. The taste is a rich malty sweetness at first, then a lemon bitter with a quickly following candy sweet note. Smooth texture with moderate carbonation and medium body. An enjoyable beer for sure.

Pours a semi-clear copper color with a good amount of carbonation for a good head. Scent has some malts standing out giving it that obvious bock smell. The taste is mild with an almost nutty flavor to it. A very long lasting taste that is smooth and hits the taste buds just right. A great beer to go with a sandwitch.
