Bottle 500 ml
Aroma rather generic – some pale malts with mineral/hop notes. Not much depth , nor freshness.
Appearance deep yellow gold with medium white top. Some lace but not very much.
Flavor and Palate : medium light bodied. Grainy malt feel with dry hop bitterness. Bit simplistic. It seems that everything is here to make nice Pilsnener yet we not quiet there. Parts don’t talk to each other.

Golden clear, thick white head. Smells of yeast and malts. Bad aroma. Taste is sour, miss some sweetness and dryness. No bitter finish. This beer must be a fail? Will rerate when possible

Koelschtrinker (11056) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 8, 2011
Hopfig-herber Antrunk mit leichter Bitterkeit. Zum Ende sehr wässrig, schade angesichts des Antrunks. Etwas plörrig in der Herbe. Erfrischend, OK. 8/7/8/7/8/7

Bottle from Vaaland, Bryne. Pours clear golden with a huge creamy white head.Aroma of weak grassy hops, with some faint malts. Taste is good malty, moderate sweet caramel with a decent grassy hop bitter end. Lingering hoppy aftertaste, some sweet notes of caramel as well, good beer, finally available in Norway.

Sigmund (5317) - Tau, NORWAY - FEB 26, 2011
500 ml bottle, ABV is 4.7%. Will probably be imported to Norway. Golden colour, big white head. Nice malty aroma of butterscotch and honey. Fresh and soft mouthfeel, moderate carbonation in the glass. The flavour is nicely balanced between the malts and hops, hints of butterscotch and honey again, medium bitterness.

Překvapivě dobrá jedenáctka, asi ji zařadím do repertoáru. Primátor se pochlapil.

Bottle: Deep golden, some tiny floaties visible, creamy and lacy off-white head, sticking to the glass; typical "bohemian" nose: aromatic hoppy, buttery and pale malty; moderate bitter-sweet flavour; slightly lingering hoppy and pale-malty finish. Good.....

(bottle) Slightly unclear, golden colour with a big, slightly off-white and slowly lacing foamy head. Slightly buttery and grainy malty aroma with notes of herbal and woody hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly buttery and grainy taste with notes of woody hops; slim and moderately dry, slightly hop bitter and woody finish. 08.IX.10
