3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Labelled Premium Dark. Clear brown pour with a lasting fluffy tan head. Aroma is very malty with notes of caramel and nuts and with a hint of chocolate. Flavour is a bit more roasty but otherwise identical, with some mild hop bitterness. Light, dry mouthfeel with high carbonation and a short roasty finish. Not a bad beer, easy to drink, but not too special either.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, labelled Premium Dark. Dark brown with a fat beige head that doesn’t last. Smells of toffee. Tastes of it too, although it’s not all that sweet. The toffee’s slightly buttery, but it’s not much and it’s not at all unpleasant. Also some chocolate, gentle roasted malt and a little metal. There’s a little grass in the bitterness at the end. Drier than most. Solid but not very interesting.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very dark brown with reddish tinges. Creamy tan head. Aroma is malty as hell with some notes of ketchup(say what?) and dark dried fruit. Flavor isn’t bad at all. Its sweet but has jus the lighest dose of bitterness. I like this. I get dates, dark honey, pumpernickel bread and raisins.
