2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Ruby color with creamy head. Sweet toasted malty aroma with nuts, caramel and toffee. Full bodied sweet and strongly malty flavor with caramel, toffee and estery fruits. Finish is more roasted and mildly bitter. Single minded and almost cloying dunkel.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled (on back: Primátor Pivo Tmavý lezák, on front: Primátor Velikonocní lezák). Dark rubyish amber colour, big beige head. Roasted malts, caramel and some diacetyl in aroma. Flavour starts caramelly and sugary sweet and then goes towards a maltyness and finally some hoppy bitterness. The sweetness gets to a point almost annoying after the beer gets warmer, so enjoy cold to avoid extra sweetness. While cold it’s quite wellbalanced in my opinion. Due to label it looks like an Easter Beer. Also flavour is Eastery. Rich carbonation.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Labelled as Primátor Pivo tmavý lezák, Velikonocni lezak, bottled (BB 02/2007)
This looks like an Easter special, different label than in RB - with Easter eggs. Dark ruby color, mostly vanishing tan head. Roasted, caramelly malty and diacetylic (more or less "good way") aroma. Starts caramelly and sweet but then more dry with roasted malty notes. In the finish bitterness, in the aftertaste even some hops. Unbalanced, sweetish, but still drinkable.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: MAY 1, 2006 (Bottled, "Primátor Velikonocní lezák" 0.5l and "Premium Dark" 0.33l) Clear, very dark red color with a smallish, tanned, tight but fading head. Roasted-malty, dryish and slightly sour aroma with hints of metal. Burned-malty, dryish flavor with caramel and medium bitterness. Gets much sweeter as it warms up, leaving a syrupy feeling into your lips. Light to medium-bodied palate with moderately high, but soft carbonation. A very easily drinkable and balanced, straightforward dunkel. To avoid excess sweetness, drink it straight from the fridge.
