UPDATED: SEP 2, 2009 Bottled 0,5l. Ruby red color. A disappearing head. Sweet aroma, sweet malty flavor and sweet bitterness in the aftertaste. Re-rate 28 Aug 09: Probably the same beer labeled Primátor Premium Dark bought at Systembolaget in Kiruna, Sweden. Additional comments: Some caramel in the aroma. UPDATED: JUN 19, 2006 (Primátor Velikonocni lezák, bottle BB 27/02/07) Sweet caramel, malty and slightly roasted aroma. Dark red brown colour, clear, slightly sparkling, and average, light brown, almost fully diminishing head with lacing. Sweet caramel, malty, roasted (even burned) and slightly bitter flavour of average duration. Carbonated, dry, slightly metallic and medium-bodied palate. Good dark lager! 29/04/06 ("re-rate": one spelling mistake was corrected)

Bottle. Ruby color with creamy head. Sweet toasted malty aroma with nuts, caramel and toffee. Full bodied sweet and strongly malty flavor with caramel, toffee and estery fruits. Finish is more roasted and mildly bitter. Single minded and almost cloying dunkel.

Bottled (on back: Primátor Pivo Tmavý lezák, on front: Primátor Velikonocní lezák). Dark rubyish amber colour, big beige head. Roasted malts, caramel and some diacetyl in aroma. Flavour starts caramelly and sugary sweet and then goes towards a maltyness and finally some hoppy bitterness. The sweetness gets to a point almost annoying after the beer gets warmer, so enjoy cold to avoid extra sweetness. While cold it’s quite wellbalanced in my opinion. Due to label it looks like an Easter Beer. Also flavour is Eastery. Rich carbonation.

Labelled as Primátor Pivo tmavý lezák, Velikonocni lezak, bottled (BB 02/2007)
This looks like an Easter special, different label than in RB - with Easter eggs. Dark ruby color, mostly vanishing tan head. Roasted, caramelly malty and diacetylic (more or less "good way") aroma. Starts caramelly and sweet but then more dry with roasted malty notes. In the finish bitterness, in the aftertaste even some hops. Unbalanced, sweetish, but still drinkable.

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2006 (Bottled, "Primátor Velikonocní lezák" 0.5l and "Premium Dark" 0.33l) Clear, very dark red color with a smallish, tanned, tight but fading head. Roasted-malty, dryish and slightly sour aroma with hints of metal. Burned-malty, dryish flavor with caramel and medium bitterness. Gets much sweeter as it warms up, leaving a syrupy feeling into your lips. Light to medium-bodied palate with moderately high, but soft carbonation. A very easily drinkable and balanced, straightforward dunkel. To avoid excess sweetness, drink it straight from the fridge.

Pours a clear, very dark brown, with a fairly large, bubbly beige head.
Bitterish, almost sourish roasted malt aroma. A bit strange in a way I can’t quite put my finger on.
Pretty standard czech dunkel flavor. Malty, with a moderately bitter finish.
Light carbonation, light to medium body. Kinda of creamy. A decent dunkel, but not particularly exciting.

330 ml bottle. Medium white creamy head. Black / dark brown with a red hue. Aroma of dark dehusked roasted malts. Sweet coffee and some caramel. Minty hops, but otherwise clean hop aromas. Well balanced flavour with clean maltiness. Very drinkable. Crisp hop bitterness well placed in the background. Soft caramelly flavour, but somewhat subdued. Aftertaste is clean bitterness from noble hops. Clean.Delicious dark lager.

A white head on a great brown-bronze coloured beer. Diminishes fast. Very malty with a chocolate/caramel feel. Slightly smoky in the aftertaste. Quite sweet in general
