Golden with a white head. Nice hoppy citrus aroma and bready malts. Nice balance between the hops and malts make this a typical and very drinkable bopil.

UPDATED: APR 12, 2009 bottle. Clear deep golden colour, large white head. Malty nose. Full-boided, intensively malty, slightly sweet with lovely aromatic and bitter hops with a shy herbal character. Bitter-sweet character. One of my favourite Bohemian Pilseners.

A golden orange colour, with a pleasent banana fruity nose, but a fairly standard lager and too bitter

Draught at Soldaten Svejk, Stockholm. Clear golden, firm creamy head. Grassy hop aroma. Dryish. Orangey hay-like saaz hops dominate sweet malt. Clean rounded mouthfeel. Later on buttery malt starts to take over. Finishes with medium bitterness.

(500ml can) Purchased at Spinnakers Spirit Merchant. Pours a medium, forthy white head that dissipated to a thin webbing atop a golden body. Nose of mild corn malt, hay and herbal hops. Texture is mildly oily, good Saaz hops flavour and a carbonated corn finish. Good.

Plenty of grainy pils malt and grassy, herbal, lightly spicy saaz hops greet the nose. Brilliantly clear golden body is topped by a decent white head that recedes to a long lasting cover and laces the glass. Flavour progresses in serial from mineralic at first to a soft sweet maltiness subsumed by grassy herbal hops and moderate bitterness that subsides to leave a somewhat metallic finish. Light body with very strong and engaging carbonation. Tulip glass. Fridge temperature. Can (BCLS, Sep-06).

Golden with a white head. Grassy saaz aroma. Saaz hop flavour, zippy carbonation. An unoffensive bohemian pilsner.
