3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured a classic gold colour with a rocky 1cm head that hung around for a bit. Lots of sweet malt on the nose. Hint of cookies and some grassy hops. Appetising fruity hops on the tongue, with some sweet honey characters and then a satisfying tartness in the finish. Thin to medium bodied. This is very nicely balanced. Satisfying drinking.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
A fairly typical, funky-tasting (and I mean that in a good way) Czech lager. Few know that Czech beers are some of my favorites in the entire world. This one’s got a mild crispness, but also plenty of malt to boot. Thick foamy white head. Plenty of herbal notes in this beer, too. Perhaps the body could be a little thicker/maltier. The beer is pretty grassy and crisp, upon contemplation. I don’t see the citrus some see in this brew. My main complaint is that the Primator Premium Lager is a touch overcarbonated, which makes for much burping! Urp!!

On tap at Soldaten Svejk, Stockholm. Nice golden body topped with a thick foamy head. Pleasant hoppy aroma with herbal hints. Taste is well-balanced with hoppy and herbal flavors. Decent bitter finish. Although it lacks some complexity, this is still a nice Czech Pilsner.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Grainy and grassy malt aroma, mild fruity hops. An unknown aroma that I associate with Czech lagers. Dull amber clear with thin foamy head. Medium-heavy watery body with mild carbonation. Light fruity hops and grainy, grassy malt to start. Light bitter acidity. Fruity bitter finish. Grainy mild bitter after. Tasty lager, but not super.

Golden amber with an ample white head. Hoppy nose, citrus, some malt. Rather thin and watery. Good carbonation. Flavor was on the weak side. Hoppy with a hint of sweetness. Not very good.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Body is medium yellow. Aroma is moderately malty (grain, bread), moderately hoppy (flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, slightly husky. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Graininess in both aroma and aftertaste make this less enjoyable than it probably should be.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
(on bottle)Could be a nice beer, if you´d be able ti sniff it up your nose. Has a very full aroma of malts and canesugar; looking god too with a deep golden yellow color. But it turns out to be a somewhat gassy experience to down and being such a good looker, that´s just too bad. Medium hopping and overcarbonated. The finish even tends to be a little metallic after half a bottle.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JUN 13, 2007 Yellow with a bright white fluffy head. Aroma of grain, apples and lemon. The initial flavour is dominated by malt and a hint of honey, turns into a lasting hoppy, bitter finish.
