Mid-fermented beer with full richness, soft distinct bitterness, strong relish and pure hop aroma.

Lightly hazed dark golden liquid. Small stable lid of off white bubbles. Sweet grass and fresh bread aromas. Grass does dissipate leaving a well toasted marl nose. Smooth malt and lightly toasted bread with a light spread of honey. A nice malt and herbal hops linger. Decent, but a fairly standard czech lager.

On tap at Pivni Galerie, Prague. Golden pour with rocky white head. Well-balanced, with a hint of malts evening out dry bitterness. A standard Czech pils, in a good way.

(Bottle 50 cl) Fully golden with a creamy head. The usul full, malty body with the resulting sweetness well-balanced with solid hops. Another classically neat Czech lager. 220404

(can) Pale amber colour with a small white head. Herbal hoppy nose with a sweetmalty note. Light sweet flavour, sharp carbonation. Starts malty with a well balanced bitter hoppy finish.

Bottled. Clear golden colour. Medium, frothy head. Grassy, herbal aroma with a hint of sweetness. Hoppy taste with some herbal notes and a medium dry finish. Decent pilsner.

shaker / slightly hazy, slightly active, straw body with small soapy white head. primarily slightly fruity, grainy, spiky mouthfeel, and just oddly sweet.

Bottled. Yellowish golden with huge bubbly head. Aroma is sweet, fruity and malty. The aroma was very promising but the taste was a disappointment, hoppy and bitter with sweetish finish. Weird bittersweet combination in aftertaste. Overcarbonated in my opinion.

Poured a classic gold colour with a rocky 1cm head that hung around for a bit. Lots of sweet malt on the nose. Hint of cookies and some grassy hops. Appetising fruity hops on the tongue, with some sweet honey characters and then a satisfying tartness in the finish. Thin to medium bodied. This is very nicely balanced. Satisfying drinking. A fairly typical, funky-tasting (and I mean that in a good way) Czech lager. Few know that Czech beers are some of my favorites in the entire world. This one’s got a mild crispness, but also plenty of malt to boot. Thick foamy white head. Plenty of herbal notes in this beer, too. Perhaps the body could be a little thicker/maltier. The beer is pretty grassy and crisp, upon contemplation. I don’t see the citrus some see in this brew. My main complaint is that the Primator Premium Lager is a touch overcarbonated, which makes for much burping! Urp!!

On tap at Soldaten Svejk, Stockholm. Nice golden body topped with a thick foamy head. Pleasant hoppy aroma with herbal hints. Taste is well-balanced with hoppy and herbal flavors. Decent bitter finish. Although it lacks some complexity, this is still a nice Czech Pilsner.
