Bottled(500ml). -Orange/dark golden coloured, medium sized white head, dusty alcoholic nose. Alcohol dominates here but it’s not too offensive. Sweet maltiness, some floral and caramel notes. Ok ESL.

Bottle 50cl. This beer is surprisingly very similar in taste as the Primator 24 one as it is not dark. Quite sweet, with low caramel, malt taste. Alcool is present, very much malty than hoppy. Intrasting but not so drinkable.

Bottle. Clear orangeish amber pour with a fluffy white head that doesn’t last long. Sweet, malty nose has notes of caramel, orange brandy, cherries and sugar. Flavour is similar with lots of sweetness and notes of caramel and cherries standing out and a little bit of alcohol warmth coming through. Slick, oily mouthfeel with moderate carbonation and a lingering sweet finish. Overall this is a little too sweet but otherwise not a bad strong lager.

Velkyal (296) - Gordonsville, Virginia, USA - SEP 27, 2010
The 21° Rytířský is definitely not a session beer – unless of course you want your session to end early that is – it is 9% ABV! It pours dark golden with a huge white head. The nose is quite delicate, with all the hallmark notes of Saaz hops. In the mouth however it is rather sweet and the mouthfeel distinctly syrupy although the slight bitterness comes through in the end, only to be smothered at the last.

Dark copper colour, not much of the head. Aroma of bread. Sweet, slight roastiness to the malt.

Bottle. Pours clear light amber with airy off-white head. Distinct aroma of hops with a boozy note in the ling nose. Sweetish, malty taste with bitter notes of hops and alcohol. Oily, sweetish finish. I’m not that fond of this beer style but this is one of the reasonable examples.

The label says... "pale porter"! Full body, brick-like color with minimal head. The good thing is, you can’t feel the alcohol, only slightly in the aftertaste. The beer is very full, first sweet, then a little bitter at the end. Not refreshing, you can drink one and no more. I still don’t get why it’s called pale porter... Aroma is a bit licorice and a bit booze.

efrumtheidiot (190) - Colorado, USA - OCT 18, 2008
bottle from tesco in prague. pours a clear orange-amber with a frothy white head. aroma is caramel malts, some dried fruits, sweet hop citrus, and some spice. taste is toasty malt at first, which gives way to a sweet caramel-cereal swell, followed by a sweetish finish. alcohol is pretty noticable. a bit one-dimensional. the initial flavors tend to fade pretty quickly but there is a nice dry aftertaste. overall pretty sweet, but not as sweet as the primator 24°. pretty full bodied with a slightly creamy mouthfeel. pretty rich and sweet, but not sticky-sweet by any means. a good brew overall, will try again, but i agree - it’s a bit of a palate destroyer (the alcohol is just a bit too intense).

Light amber coloured and clear. Has a white head, medium duration. Sweet aroma, malty, honey, faint bread. Heavy sweet flavor, faint herbs.
