No 667 Rated 01 01 2009 Bottle brown, 500 ml, ext 21 P, contains wheat malt, Zatec hops, hops extract, sugar, Appearance pours very deep, dark amber to cooper body, shiny, clear but with minute sediments floating in the body texture, carbonation of the body is mild, head is initially very huge, off white, head is very thick and dense in structure, slowly decreasing to medium, leaving very good lacing, Aroma very sweet, sugary, syrupy aroma, notes of caramel, burned sugar, toffee, moderately alcoholic, nice candy, sweet dough, fresh cookies, tasty doughnut but aroma is not overly sweet, there are noticeable notes of graphit, fat Bohemian maltyness, wheat, grains, very ssertive and valuable Zatec hops, definitely chalky, Flavour front is sticky sweet and alcoholic which is present even in the alcoholic retronasal aroma, a good beer for a dessert and to be accompained by a sweet doughnut, white chockolate or cake, full bodied, very fat malty and high in Zatec hops, livening the body texture and making it not dull, what I like about this beer is that the good quality Bohemian ingredients show of here and play a very good part, finish duration is long, Palate body is full, texture is syrupy, carbonation on palate is rather soft, finish feel is sticky sweet from sugar with Zatec hoppy nose, slightly salty, very grainy with moderate alcoholic dryness

UPDATED: JUN 9, 2009 0.5l bottle (9%) courtesy of and shared with ogivlado who brought it from ČR (thanks!).
Poured an orange body with a big, thick and lasting off white head. Grainy fruity and dusty nose, some light alcohol. The taste is pretty much alcohol with orangey sweet sticky maltiness, slightly cloying but not as much as they can get. Kinda spicy and overall not all that bad.

bottle. Clear pale golden yellow, small white head. Fruity nose. Full-bodied, malty and sweeet, slightly sticky. Fruity background and some hoppy flavours also hover around. An interesting brew, labelled "svetly porter" = pale porter.

Bottled(500ml). -Orange/dark golden coloured, medium sized white head, dusty alcoholic nose. Alcohol dominates here but it’s not too offensive. Sweet maltiness, some floral and caramel notes. Ok ESL.

Bottle 50cl. This beer is surprisingly very similar in taste as the Primator 24 one as it is not dark. Quite sweet, with low caramel, malt taste. Alcool is present, very much malty than hoppy. Intrasting but not so drinkable.

Bottle. Clear orangeish amber pour with a fluffy white head that doesn’t last long. Sweet, malty nose has notes of caramel, orange brandy, cherries and sugar. Flavour is similar with lots of sweetness and notes of caramel and cherries standing out and a little bit of alcohol warmth coming through. Slick, oily mouthfeel with moderate carbonation and a lingering sweet finish. Overall this is a little too sweet but otherwise not a bad strong lager.

The 21° Rytířský is definitely not a session beer – unless of course you want your session to end early that is – it is 9% ABV! It pours dark golden with a huge white head. The nose is quite delicate, with all the hallmark notes of Saaz hops. In the mouth however it is rather sweet and the mouthfeel distinctly syrupy although the slight bitterness comes through in the end, only to be smothered at the last.
