3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma of coffee, chocolate and hints of caramel, licorice and nuts. Almost black with a tan head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium body with a average to soft carbonation. Overall a very nice Dry Stout, a bit on the thin side, but not too bad for the abv.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma; sweet mild roasted malts, faint floral soapy notes.
Look; beige big pillow, black body. Taste; roasted malts, yeast, cheese, grass - leading to a dark malty finish. Feel; easy, semi dry. Overall; I’m not really sure whether this batch really hit the stout arena. [50cl.btl 4.7% BB17.08.16]

Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy irregular beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very roasted, caramel, some coffee, bit herbal. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very roasted, soft sweetness, caramel, bit hoppy, bitter, some citric acidity. Aftertaste: roasted, little sour, bitter hops, dry finish, really nice one, wasn’t expecting such a decent dry stout at all!

Tasting at Ljubljana Beer and Whiskey Festival 2015. Shared with Dinko, Mišo and Shotgun Fred! Black with medium tan head. Grassy hops, maybe Saaz? Dark malts, toffee, nuts. Some coffee bitterness there, has character. Not really that well made in style, but good.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
The beer looks absolutely amazing. The color of the beer is a lovely pitch black on the eye. In a light, there is a nice ruby red glow. On top of the beer, there is a lovely layer of soft, creamy light brown yellow. Lovely. The smell of the beer is nice. I smell some lovely bitter roast aroma, giving the beer a lovely bitterness. There is also a nice sweet touch to it. There is a nice balance. It has that true stout aromas. The taste of the beer is also quite nice. The taste is also quite nice. I taste some lovely roasted flavors and a nice licorice touch. There is a nice amount if correctness and sweetness. A very nice beer it is. Just as I expected. A true beer for a hot day.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: OCT 13, 2016 Dry stout from a Czech micro brewery, bottle shared by tderoeck, cheers! Thick, frothy, lacing, dense, pale beige head, black robe with chestnut brown edges. Aroma of cocoa powder, bitter chocolate, coffee grounds, black pepper, bayleaf, ’natural’ iron, hazelnuts, leather. Soft, very subdued fig-like sweetish onset with a touch raisin, light sourishness of roasted barley and faint umami accent, smooth body, caramelly malt sweetness immediately shifting to bitter chocolate and toasted bitterness, tad coffeeish in the end, light iron touch but feeling naturally, deep roasted sourishness and bitterness provides quite a lot of structure, bitterness further enhanced by spicy hops in the end. Classic Irish stout in terms of style, the genre typified by Guinness Draught, but evidently in a far less industrial form.
