Rating #808, flaske fra Toft Vin. Det er en typisk brunrød dunkel, men med et meget stabilt lille skumhoved, på omkring en fingers tykkelse. Maltet duft med en anelse humle og en lille smule chokolade. Sød og maltet smag med en smule ristet malt og chokolade - ret god indtil en udpræget smag af metal tager over. En sød smag med en smule bitterhed og alkohol markerer afslutningen. Gennemsnitlig tyngde.

Almost a finger of tan head on a dark brown body. The aroma is roasted and chocolate malt. Nice. The roasted malt comes through in the taste as well, along with a little milk and mild lemon bitterness. The texture is a little fizzy and crisp. An enjoyable experience with the flavorful taste but still lighter lager.

Bottle 50cl. Pours dark with a smooth creamy head. Taste is a mixture of sweet coffee, roasted malts and raisins and perhaps some other dried fruits. Would suit well with a good meat dish perhaps a steak or barbeque.

UPDATED: JAN 4, 2013 Serving: from bottle--purchased at Total Wine & More. Aroma: light bread aroma. Appearance: average-sized, frothy, light brown, initial head with fair lacing and mostly diminishing longevity. Sparkling, brown body. Taste: moderately sweet initial flavor and lightly bitter finish with average duration. Palate: medium body, watery texture and fizzy carbonation--soda like. Overall: a good beer that I would drink again.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours clear dark copper in color with a creamy off-white head. Sweet malty and dark dried fruits in aroma. Soft mouthfeel with some roastedness. Sweet in aftertaste.

Big pounder bottle. Pour is rather dark lager bu no where near schwartz. Smell is sweet farmy old cow maune in a barn. Taste is a little ruff for a dunkle, like on the baltic side of dunkel. Yes, mild baltic thing happeneing here. Goes down pretty easy. The finish has some of that off mild manure thing in there too. Mild alky impact helps with the acceptability factor.

Primator tmavé 12 served in large mug in Kutna Hora, CZ. Nice aroma of spicy hops and medium and dark malts. Slightly smokey. The taste is sweet for style, but some balancing bitterness kicks in at the finish. Still a bit too sweet IMO. Medium body with good carbonation. O - a mediocre Czech tmavé which, by global standards, means a fine beer.

Sweet malt, charcoal, light chocolate. Clear ruby red with 2 finger beige head that is ok long. Nice looks. Taste is sweet, mild sherry notes, light feel and body, low carbonation, sherry finish, bit spices. Quite nice but needs more body and better palate.
