(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Cloudy orange golden colour with a big foamy white head. Dusty and moderately sweet wheat-malty aroma with notes of cob-webs, cloves and banana. Moderately sweet flavour with just a tinge of acidity, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Good wheat character with rather strong phenolic spices and a restrained banana-fruity note. Average Hefeweizen (12.III.09).

No 666 Rated 01 01 2009 Bottle brown, 500 ml, Appearance pours orange peal, carrot like, hazy body with lively saturation and quite impressive huge head being off white in colour, slowly decreasing to moderate, thick frothy, leaves very nice thick lacing, another style of beer from Nachod with perfect appearance, WELL DONE, Aroma thick, pronounced, fat Moravian malt background with gentle and pleasant notes of yeast, whipped cream, banana, vanilla, clove, carrot, strawberries, red apple, very wheaty, note of coriander, good hoppy profile presenting nice Bohemian accents in bavarian beer style, Flavour very pronounced, full flavoured beer, very distinguishable and noticable Bohemian hoppy accent presenting itself on palate at first in a way of quite pleasant bitterness and later on in aromatic Bohemian hoppy nose, later on yeasts are lingering in your mouth and when the palate gets warmer you can feel pronounced barley grains going together with wheat, when it comes to this hoppyness it is flowery like, finish duration is long and pleasant, Palate body is medium, texture is smooth, almost creamy, carboantion on palate is moderate, finish feel is gently astringent, gently with alcoholic warmth, quite clean, very nice beer

UPDATED: SEP 18, 2009 Hazy golden , light orange color. Sweet honey banana aroma. Very cloudy appearance with a lot of swimming yeast pieces at the bottom. Mild, smooth mouthfeel. Light bodied - very easy to drink. Lots of honey, bananas in the aroma - less spicey than the classic german ones. Mild dry aftertaste. I’m sure that the Primátor brewery chooses the finest malts for their brews. Very unique wheat.

Bottle, shared by a kind soul at the Danish Summer Gathering 2008. It pours a hazy, golden-orange body under a nice white head. Banana, cloves, lemon notes and a little grainy touch in the aroma. The flavor is much the same, with sweetness and some bitterness added. Medium, effervescent mouthfeel, and a finish with some bitterness to go with the banana and cloves. A nice Czech specimen.
