0,5L bottle. Pours hazy golden with big white head. The head stays for some time. Aroma sweetness, very intense banana (did someone slip real banana in this one?!), fruits. Taste is rather sweet and sour, orange, some herbs, banana, somewhat watery. Overall: often I see description of banana in hefeweizen rating and I don’t get it. This one has so much banana in it, that it’s impossible to miss it. Although I wouldn’t call it a classic hefeweizen, it’s still rather nice.

Hazy, yellow colour with huge and stable head, without lacing. Medium intensive aroma of banana with feint spruce note on background. Taste is heavy sweet with minimal sourness. High carbonation. Medium body. Quite good hefeweizen.

16.9oz bottle. Hazy, cloudy orange body. Thin, steady white head. I’m pretty sure this is my first Czech Hefeweizen. Pronounced banana yeast tones, pretty much what you want from a hefe. Medium bodied, a little sweet, doesn’t have that perfect clove balance a classic example has. Pleasant creamy yeast tones. Easy going, enjoyable to drink.

Bottle 0,5l, BB 10/12/2014, tasted 23/12/2013. World Beer Awards 2013 winner. Moderately hazy golden yellow. Creamy white head, considerably unstable, airy, big bubbles. Not adhesive. Aroma: citrus, bit of dough, bit of hops, bit of soap, flowers and traces of spruce. MF: light, very fresh & tangy, playful. Taste: mildly bitter, slightly acid, not sweet; roasted grains. For me even a bit watery and metallic. Aftertaste ephemeral. I liked the freshnes and its balance of bitter/acid/sweet tastes, yet, the beer was a bit too quick for me (the head gone in a wink) and the tangy tickling at my tongue almost disturbing. And, sorry, I didn’t appreciate the soapy tones, (I would call it taste of glue).
