Pale yellow with a small bright white head that disappeared quickly and left little lacing. Syrupy corn and sugar sweetness - I guess that was cane sugar, but does it matter? Light body, harsh mouthfeel, and a belabored carbonation.

A: The beer pours a pale yellow color with a short lived white head and no lacing. S: Lots of corn sweetness and sugar sweetness, too. A bit of straw and apple juice (which gives even more sweetness). Just a light ester quality. A slightly stale feeling to the aroma. T: Slightly bitter on the back of the throat, but otherwise it’s just as sweet as the smell. A light grass and straw flavor as well. Corn and white sugar with some light grainy flavors. M: Light to medium in body with a medium carbonation. O: Sort of falls in line with any of the other number of blah lagers.

12oz bottle picked up at an ABC store in Honolulu
Appearance: Clear yellow with a big foamy white head and good lacing
Aroma: Light Malts, citrus and honey
Taste: Sweet Malts, some sourness with a slightly bitter citrus in the finish
Ok, easy to drink

This beer looks nice in my lager glass. The off white head doesn’t last long but the carbonation keeps rising from the bottom. Color is typical for the style. I really wasn’t expecting much from this. I picked up some sweet aromas along with hay and corn. Taste was pleasant with smooth sweet honey, some hop and the carbonation feels quite nice. Overall I think this beer is well rounded. I will buy this again for a time when I just want to have some beer while watching a game.

Had this one in saint George Utah 2 years ago. Has a great island citrus taste to it. Medium head. With a decent aroma

Draught at Boardwalk, Cocoa Beach, FL, on Jan 29, 2011
Clear golden color, white head. Fresh, fruity, herbal, hoppy taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium high herbal bitterness. Malty and herbal scent. Much butter than I somehow expected it to be, I became pleasantly surprised.

DuffMan (5192) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 17, 2010
Bottle, brought back by dodo, shared with Parksy. Clear golden body, average white cap that quickly thins and fades. Aroma is grainy, slightly sweet, with a whiff of grassy hops. Palate is pretty much identical, with a dry papery note in the finish. The pale malt is better than average here, with a lightly toasty twist. Not bad.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a medium, short lived, white head, over a clear golden (SRM 5) body....nose is light malts, corn, cereal....taste is sweet corn, finishing perhaps with a bit of bitterness....mouth feel is light and watery, carbonation high. This meets all of the characteristics of a pale lager, a style not worth the malt. BJCP 5/2/8/3/4

Gooney (369) - Portland, Oregon, USA - NOV 11, 2010
22 oz bottle from Thriftway - Pours a pale golden color with a nice white head. Tastes like a pretty decent pale lager. I don’t think there would ever be a great beer in this category, so this is probably fairly close to as good as it will get.

Gold pour with creamy white head and lace. Corn, sweet malt, and paper. Corn, light sweet malt with a dry finish. A bit thin and fizzy.
