12oz bottle thanks to my bro out in Cali. Pours a nice gold color with a nice thick and persistant head. Smells of corn malt and grain. Tastes like fermented corn, a lil grass, and nice dense body. Aftertaste is semi-sweet. Not bad.

Negative props for authenticity, as this oneís brewed in California with "island" sugar (the islands are not identified lest the current Honolulu government object) but pretty damn drinkable, and happily sugary sweet--good for the "island" heat

Another brew enjoyed while vacationing in Maui, Hawaii. When I saw this on the cooler shelf I knew I had to try it for two basic reasons; (1) it was the last one on the shelf, and (2) I have never tried it before and have never seen it in my area! This brew had a fantastic flavor that was making me take it nice and slow so that I could enjoy it for as long as I could! This brew is made with pure Hawaiian cane sugar and that makes for one fantastic tasting brew! This is truly wonderful as the company for this brew falls under the Pabst/Miller corporate structure and they have graciously kept from meddling around and mucking up the production of this tasty brew!

This is a fairly good, basic pale lager and better than most macro lagers of the type. Itís gold with a medium white head steadily dissipating to a thin ring. The aroma is a pleasant, full-bodied US adjunct/pale lager character, mostly a full, strong grain with hints of apple and grass, rather like Pabst. It has nothing off or unpleasant aside from a very faint hint of perfumy soap. The taste is light and very simple, but pleasant, firm, and consistent, again a bit like PBR. it has a lot of grain with faint grass and apple peel, with a grain aftertaste with faint grassy bitterness. Unlike PBR, the overall character thins out more and becomes a bit more bland and watery after the first few sips, with the grain taste becoming weaker. Itís drinkable and pleasant for what it is.

UPDATED: JUL 8, 2012 Had on 7/4/12. Not much to say about this average lager besides the good carbonation and lacing I?m assuming from the pure cane. Good to try once but wouldn?t drink again.

Bottle. Slightly darker golden than most lagers, sweetish wooly head. Grassy, sweet, not much depth, but surprisingly drinkable. Kind of a distinct flavour which Iíd probably get sick of, but as an end-of-week beer with my Japanese curry it hit the spot.

Bottle from Honolulu. Pale yellow/gold, small white head, bready malt, cornflakes, low grassy bitterness, sweet finish. Nothing special.

Tony shared a bottle of this beer iíve never heard at Oldsmar Tap House. Thanks! i thought this would be an interesting beer to try. I love how nowhere on this bottle it notifies you that its a miller coors product. anyway this beer blows. pours a light golden with a lightbeer head. aroma has a bit of spices to it. maybe some pepper. not much else. taste sucks, malty rice patty, its a mess. no mouthfeel. Donít drink this.

22 ounce bottle from Safeway in Kihei, Maui, Hawaii. Medium golden color, grainy aroma reminiscent of old time regional lagers, very foamy slighty off-white head, sweet flavor with slight soapiness, not much trace of hops. I broke my boycott of all beers brewed by Miller to try this beer and I donít know if it really was worth it. Not unpleasant but nothing to attract a retry. Unfortunately, I didnít encounter the draft version (which apparently isnít made at a Miller plant) during my Hawaiian vacation. If Iím lucky enough to go back someday and can find the draft version, Iíll revisit this rating.
