22oz bottle for $1.95. Nice. Nose is corny, lightly sweet, some sugar, grain. Just rather sweet and pale lagery. Almost like a different PBR in a sense. Pours golden, thin head leaves quickly. Flavor has corn, grainy malt, sweetness, light crispness in the finish. Not much flavor, standard Miller product flavors here. Thin light body, crisp, thirst quenching. It is what it is. I am not morally opposed to pale lager so my rating might be a little high, but it when looked at within style guidelines it was not that bad really.

I actually knda liked this one, for what it was. Copper, thin ring of foam. Mildly sweet, with a dryis note in the finish. A little bit of grainy flavors, too. Pretty refreshing, actually.

Primo beer is still around? I remember seeing this beer from the Schlitz’s Hawaii brewery back in the late 1970s before I could legally drink the stuff. From 12-oz bottle pours a clear golden pale colored brew with an average size white head that quickly dissipates to a thin white ring and film top. Aroma of golden grain malt, a hint of vanilla, sugar, corn, and a hint of floral hops. Taste is light bodied, some metallic texture with flavors of multi-grain malt with corn, a hint of honey and floral hops. Finish is a touch watery, semi-sweet with floral hop and corn aftertaste. Can’t detect any sugar in taste but only in aroma. It’s a lot better than the the Schlitz historical 1970s vintage brew but it’s still an average macro-style grain beverage with the marketing hype.

Golden in color, clear with a thick fluffy head. Served ice cold this was that beer you drink after a super hot day at the beach. Lots of malt lager flavor little hops and light flavors all around. Nothing special just a good cold need that beer.

Clear yellow pour, fizzy white head. Grain, sweetness, light fruit, and a touch of hops. Very light and non offensive. Actually not terrible, just really easy drinking. Didn’t even notice this... number 1600.

Golden draft pour at tikis in Honolulu. White head. A decent chuggable and kind of sweet lager. It was served freezing and that was great

Bottle from Food Pantry Waikiki 191214. This is some nasty ass beer right here. Pale and pasty with no aroma or flavour. Label says brewed since 1897, sure tastes like it.

The aroma is a bit skunky with adjuncts like corn but that may be sugar cane according to the label. The appearance is pale gold with a large head that fizzes away. The taste is malty and lightly bitter-sweet with a dry finish. The palate is right for the style. Overall an interesting concept that does not yield much.
