12 oz. bottle. Pours a medium, short lived, white head, over a clear golden (SRM 5) body....nose is light malts, corn, cereal....taste is sweet corn, finishing perhaps with a bit of bitterness....mouth feel is light and watery, carbonation high. This meets all of the characteristics of a pale lager, a style not worth the malt. BJCP 5/2/8/3/4

12oz bottle from bevmo mission valley. Pours a medium golden color with a fluffy white head. Nose and flavor had a little extra sugary sweetness from the can sugar, decent lager.

12oz bottle. Gold pour, much better than the typical pale lager, the head retention isn’t too bad either. Slight sweet malt aroma. A little sweet, no hop character at all, decent drinker.

[Bottle] Pours a very light yellow color with a fizzy white head. Sweet nose of sugar cane and corn syrup. Smells a little oxidized too. The taste is grainy, with hints of metal and lingering sweetness. Champagne-like carbonation. Yikes! I only bought a bomber of this, but I really had to choke it down.

UPDATED: MAR 28, 2009 Bottle from Valley Farm. Medium golden in color. Sweet grain aroma. Some corn as well. Crisp and grainy. Decent lager. Kind of reminds me of Lucky from the 90’s.

Bottle from Yamaya. Aroma of grass and some lemon. Clear pale straw color, lots of carb rising. Grass, good hopping / mid gets a bit sweet / flattens into a thick, dull sweetness, along with a metallic note. Thin-medium body, some big-time fizz. Full-bodied and fairly flavorful for a light lager. Better than I thought it would be.

I guess it is a red stripe knockoff. Got it from a place in Anaheim where Ron and I picked up a Mickey’s. Now enjoying while watching fireworks. Fruity, grassy aroma with some coconut. Zero taste or flavor. Very foamy. points for no off-taste. It’ll have to do.

12oz bottle. Clear straw with a weak white head. Light mineral and grainy aroma. Very light sweet flavor with a hint of corn. Pretty much no hops, so it finishes a little sweet despite the lightness. Thin and very carbonated. Nothing nasty, but pretty flavorless.

Bottle from Oahu. Pours a clear glowing lighter golden with a fizzy frothy white head. Grassy aroma with a light sweetness. Somewhat clean flavor, light bitterness, light sweetness, touch of faint apple, doughy, softer malty, with lasting bitter aftertaste.

Draft. Pours a clear, golden with a spritzy white head. The aroma is sweet with some vegetal notes — molasses and corn — and a hint of grassy hops. The flavor is lightly sweet and very lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Better than many other mass-market pale lagers and refreshing enough. But not a lot of flavor in this one.
