This beer has almost no aroma and a very light taste followed by a slightly bitter after taste. I did not know this was a Miller product when I purchased it. Not that it would change my opinion but I feel a little duped in that I thought I was buying a microbrew. Live and learn I guess.
2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Westkyoto77 (155) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAY 31, 2013
Bottle. Slightly darker golden than most lagers, sweetish wooly head. Grassy, sweet, not much depth, but surprisingly drinkable. Kind of a distinct flavour which I’d probably get sick of, but as an end-of-week beer with my Japanese curry it hit the spot.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Reid (1615) - Salem,Oregon, Oregon, USA - FEB 24, 2010
22 oz bomber from Capital Market, Salem.
was kinda tricked really into buying, thought this was brewed on HI. but its brewed in Millers plant in Cali.
Ok pretty average looking lager pale golden nice sized white head. Typical.
Aroma is pretty pleasant for style only a whiff of carboard to go with the buisuity malts.
Taste..pretty average semi-sweet American lager.
Mouthfeel is actually Ok they managed to at least keep the carbonation down this makes the overall expierience with the beer more pleasing.
This is an OK macro lager..not too many off flavours. reinds me of Henry Weinhards Private Reserve..thats a good thing.

Golden in color, clear with a thick fluffy head. Served ice cold this was that beer you drink after a super hot day at the beach. Lots of malt lager flavor little hops and light flavors all around. Nothing special just a good cold need that beer.

Bottle in Hawaii. Hmmm... interesting. Tastes much better cold which is probably not a good sign I guess. Quite sweet as you would expect from the cane sugar. Let down by slighty chemical aftertaste.

Had the original (bottle, not draft) in Hawaii many, many years ago, tasted sweet, like Bud. Read the label, brewed in California, not that it means anything, but I wanted something exotic... not something brewed right near where I flew in from. Saw it on "Three Sheets" a couple of weeks ago and they said it was "all new" and brewed with "Island sugar." Grabbed a six here locally, tastes sweet, like Bud, still brewed in California, with the "Island sugar" shipped in, as the case with many other macro beers? Overall not a bad "Budsy" beer... Aloha and Cheers!

A: The beer pours a pale yellow color with a short lived white head and no lacing.
S: Lots of corn sweetness and sugar sweetness, too. A bit of straw and apple juice (which gives even more sweetness). Just a light ester quality. A slightly stale feeling to the aroma.
T: Slightly bitter on the back of the throat, but otherwise it’s just as sweet as the smell. A light grass and straw flavor as well. Corn and white sugar with some light grainy flavors.
M: Light to medium in body with a medium carbonation.
O: Sort of falls in line with any of the other number of blah lagers.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Dogbrick (6178) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAR 27, 2009
Sample at Burger Bar in Las Vegas. The beer is a clear golden color with a thin and fizzy white head that diminishes quickly. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. Light hops and pale malt in the nose. Light, carbonated body with grainy malt and mild hops flavors. Touches of fruit at times as well. The finish is lightly bitter with a short hops aftertaste. By-the-numbers Lager overall.
