2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
50cl bottle of König Ludwig Weissbier Dunkel poured into a weizen glass. Extremely cloudy amber brown. There are serious amounts of chunky yeast slowly cascading to the bottom of the glass. The yeasty aroma is also extremely prevalent. Hints of banana, maybe some citrus. Flavor is, you guessed it, very yeasty. There is some banana and citrus there but the yeast definitely overwhelms them. This beer isn’t terrible but it is far and away the yeastiest weizen I have ever had. Bread in liquid form.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
500ml bottle (BeerAngel.de)
Rich hazy orangy brown, brief head. Dull aroma, a touch sweet, but hard to pinpoint. Pleasant carbonation. Slightly sour taste, perhaps some chlorophenols, and a bit muddy too, perhaps mushroom. Tingly hoppy finish, a touch metallic. Not as good as their Helles.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
König Ludwig Weissbier Dunkel
Cloudy brown in the glass and a quick-fading tan head. Chocolate, banana, and yeasty marzipan aroma. Nutty malts and banana yeast flavor mix within a medium-full feel and well carbonated body. Initial raisin, then chocolate, then vanilla-banana yeast. Lacy glass.

KONIG LUDWIG WEISSBIER DUNKEL - redirected to this one. bottled, relatively light dunkel weizen, a big head with strong mediumsized bubbels, aroma is flowery and yeasty, mild, flavour is unbalanced, not a single ingredient is distinctive enough, there is yeast, candy and apple, but none is stong enough to dominate the taste, strong carbonation fent on the tondue,

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma of slight cloves and esters. Cloudy light brown in appearance with a good compact head.
Flavour of cloves with chocolate notes as well as a hint of acetaldehyde. Carbonation is high.
Overall a good beer, the high CO2 balances out the chocolate body making it very drinkable.
