3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
0,5L bottle, BB 17.12.14. Pours hazy orange with white head. The head stays. Aroma is sweet, very fruity, orange, wheat, and yeast. Taste is sweet, sour, very faint bitter, fruits, wheat, citrus and some spices. Body and finish are rather thin. Overall: a little bit too watery, but looks like weizen should; taste and aroma are also above average.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at home. Has a orange color with a large, creamy, white foam head. The aroma is extremely fruity with notes of banana, spices, wheat and lychee. The taste is sweet with a touch of wheat and pale malt, pear and banana, and some spices. Mouth feel is where it should be, soft and smooth, and the bitterness is low. This wheat beer has a great flavor, but a little light. Still a solid and balanced wheat beer.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
The body was cloudy and had a cool, golden yellow color with visible carbonation. Its head is thick, creamy and bright white in color. It slowly fades to a thin cap that hangs on till the last sip and leaves nice lace on the glass. There is an inviting aroma of wheat, clove, fruity yeast and banana. The flavor has a good wheat malt base with fruity yeast that has notes of banana. Mellow herbal hops, spicy clove and a touch of lemon round out the flavor on a smooth creamy palate with a medium body and lively carbonation. It finishes somewhat dry with some lingering wheat and dry earthy tones. This is a great example of a German hefeweizen. The balance is spot on for the style and it is wonderfully refreshing and very easy to drink.

Foam stays. Light amber color. Simple in taste, but sweetness stays maybe too much even. Dense. Not bad but also nothing special.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cloudy golden color with white persistent head. Apparently a typical Weissbier, but this has something different. Aroma is very spicy, with cloves, pepper and sweet banana. Taste is very fruity, with banana, some vanilla, and a spicy aftertaste, with cloves and coriander. A really interesting one!
