COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is Royal Barvarian Hefeweizen. Why are the Bavarian Royal Family and King Ludwig so important to brewing history? The Bavarian Royal Family had sole rights to brewing Hefe-Weizen on Bavaria for over 200 years. No wonder we are the leading experts on wheat beers!

Bottle from Bert’s Pours a hazy dark straw color with a wispy bubbly white head that quickly dissipate to a light foam on the top and leaves marginal lace on the way down. Aromas of pepper and clove with hints of bubble gum and a light honey like and spicy maltiness. Bready yeasty aromas and a hint of lemon round out the nose on this one. The flavor is lightly sweet honey, and bready, and spicy malt up front. clove and pepper and bready yeasty flavors counter the malty sweetness well. Light to medium body with a moderate to high level of carbonation and a sweet spicy bubbly mouthfeel. I’m missing the banana, but everything else seems to be there. This would make a nice warm weather brew, light and easy to drink.

Bottle. White head. Yellow, hazy/thick, though carbonation is slightly visible. Sweet wheat aroma. Taste is bitter and pretty much disappointing (just like every other wheat beer). Soft carbonation, slightly oily, long and bitter finish. Overall just another wheat beer.

Yellow orange hazy beer with white head leaving lacing. Aroma has lots of citrus and bubble gum. Taste is pretty dry with not much finish. Mouthfeel is thin. A hefeweizen with less banana sweetness than usually.

A smell of grain and yeast come from this pale slightly cloudy vrew with a white head. A medium body of yeasty beer with a slight grain flavor come out. For a hell not bad. I expected a bit more cloudiness and a bit more yeasty flavor. Otherwise not a bad brew

0.5l bottle. Very pale cloudy yellow pour, with receding white head. Aroma of tart wheatiness, very biscuity, light spiciness. Taste is citrusy, lemony wheat flavors, quite bready, light spiciness. Palate is well carbed, light bodied. Not very thrilling, but refreshing.

50cl bottle. Quite light. Nose is predominantly banana/wheat, flavor is more of the same. A bit of sweetness as well, but not much depth at all. Finish is practically nonexistent, after the swallow it largely disappears.

Super cloudy appearance. Smells of clove, yeast, banana, lemon, and bubble gum: classic German hefe for sure. Taste is zesty, peppery, and bready. Nice.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours a cloudy yellow with a white head. Taste banana, wheat, sweet. I thought this was good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Geel troebel bier met witte kraag. Aroma van banaan. Smaak is zoet licht bitter. Geheel voelt romig, mis verder wel de body.
