COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is Royal Barvarian Hefeweizen. Why are the Bavarian Royal Family and King Ludwig so important to brewing history? The Bavarian Royal Family had sole rights to brewing Hefe-Weizen on Bavaria for over 200 years. No wonder we are the leading experts on wheat beers!

Pours a hazy orange with a thick, two-finger head and some lacing. Smells of bread dough, herbs and spices, and maybe some citrus. On the taste, some sweetness from the wheat, definitely spicey from the yeast. Hints of citrus. Very smooth and a creamy mouthfeel. Drys out nicely leaving some lingering dough. A refreshing beer to enjoy on a hot day.

Nice citrusy aroma with a great foamy white head that lasts over a dirty straw color. Sweet flavor with a clean crisp citrusy finish.

Keg at the Red Lion, Copenhagen, DK - Cloudy yellow with good white head. Sweet lemony citrus taste this, with some apricot, banana, clove, slight spice, vanilla. Has a good substantial mouthfeel, very refreshing/thirst quenching.

Golden body with white head. Light but certainly not clear. Ripe banana, white bread and clean yeast. Smooth body, but also Sugary. Sweet. Soft carbonation yet produces a huge head. Simple aftertaste. Decent brew, but certainly misses character. (50cl bottle from AH supermarket. Bottle marked Konig Ludwig Weissbier Hell)

It made me super horney. I enjoyed the wisp, clear taste even though it had a foggy appearance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a beautiful golden beer. Smells like lemon. The taste is good but not that special. Just like the palate.

Draft at sb. Pours a very cloudy honeyish medium gold with a dense and fizzy platinum blond head that sticks around forever. Pleasant banana nose, mild cloves way in the background. Needs more spiciness. Creamy medium body with very light carb. Bananas all over the mid palate and the finish. Very mild and approachable.
