COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is Royal Barvarian Hefeweizen. Why are the Bavarian Royal Family and King Ludwig so important to brewing history? The Bavarian Royal Family had sole rights to brewing Hefe-Weizen on Bavaria for over 200 years. No wonder we are the leading experts on wheat beers!

Nasty smell, nasty flavor, awful aftertatste.Prickly in the throat especially first pull.Burnt grass flavor and also nasty flavor of a rogue bacteria loose in a unsanitized batch of homebrew. Will turn your stomach upside down.

Pours hazy and light orange with a white creamy head. Aroma is sweet and fruity with a hint of clove and yeast. Taste is sweetish with apricot and other fruits (not so strong banana flavor like in most weissbiers) . Medium bodied and medium to soft CO2. A little bit too sweet for me, but anyway a decent hefeweizen which goes well with a freshly baked brezel. (0,5 l bottle, best before 28 may 2015).

(Bottle) A nice light, fruity, and floral beer. Very nicely balanced. Not my favorite style but I could definitely drink this especially during a hot summer day.

500ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a one inch white head that lasts. Taste is of wheat, grass, yeast straw, spice and citrus. Similar aroma. Has a lighter body with a clean finish. Easy to drink and worth having again.

(Bottle) From State Line Liquors, MD. Pours a hazy golden cup with little head. A very pleasant, subdued and controlled Hefeweizen. Fruity aroma, but less estery than most Hefeweizens, very crisp, almost peppery mouthfeel from the prickly carbonation. Mildly sweet, mildly sour flavor, with little bitterness. Clean finish. Light body, easy to drink. Enjoyable, and I’d recommend this to people who object to the banana aroma of many German Hefeweizens, as it was much diminished in this beer. A well-executed beer that I would enjoy drinking again.
