This is Royal Barvarian Hefeweizen. Why are the Bavarian Royal Family and King Ludwig so important to brewing history? The Bavarian Royal Family had sole rights to brewing Hefe-Weizen on Bavaria for over 200 years. No wonder we are the leading experts on wheat beers!

A pretty standard, well-made Hefe. Pours the typical hazy gold with a frothy white head that leaves some lacing. Aromas mostly consisting of spices, bubblegum and bananas. Flavors of bananas, spices and some citrus. Creamy mouthfeel with a sweet finish. Nothing spectacular, just a good Hefe.

Ein gutes Weizen, jedoch mit einer etwas aufdringlichen Säure. Dadurch etwas unrund meiner Meinung nach. Erfrischend, mit den typischen Weizenaromen Banane und Nelke.

Imperial Pint poured in a novelty weizen glass. Pours fizzy cloudy light gold. Light grain aroma. Flavor is dominantly creamy, sweet, slightly fruity and fairly crisp. A very good traditional Hefeweizen, but a little bit simple and light.

Hazy yellow pour, some froth. Aroma suggests wheat, yeast and bananas. Taste is very much same. The banana taste is strong and could be overwhelming for some, but not me. Overall , a very good hefeweizen, although a little thin and watery.

It produces a cloudy offwhite, quite long lasting head. The colour is hazy orange. Aromas of banana and wheat. Very yeasty, malty flavour with banana, vague honey, some spices and grassy. fruity hops. medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation. Solid.

Foam is rich and persistent aroma and the typical wheat malt with distinctive aromas of ripe banana. The taste may be a bit thin compared to other Bavarian good hefeweizen, yet has all the flavor notes of banana and fresh grains, but is also a little watery in its expression. This hefeweissbier is tasty and although it is a little watery. Hop bitterness is gentle, but contribute to long aftertaste. As other reviewers have mentioned, I also think it is fine for a hot summer where it can be enjoyed nice cold.

Flaska på Le Pain Quotidien, Amsterdam. Pissgul dimmig vätska med vitt skum. Klassisk weiss-doft av skumbanan, vete och jäst. Söt vetesmak, fyllig maltbeska. Klassisk weiss som sagt. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Beautiful appearance: hazy, orange golden, rich and lasting head. Banana, cloves, lemon, all in place. A bit watery though. Decent weizen
